"I don't want to be here," I said for the last time.
Chauncey had dragged me to the mall. We were in the store where David works.
I had to tell him about our double date.
Gross.
"It's not that bad," he said looking at a some shirts.
"Yes it is. It's David!"
Chauncey laughed. "I love you forever for this,"
"You already love me forever,"
He glared at me playfully. "Go flirt with your man,"
"If you weren't my best friend I would kill you,"
And if you weren't so cute, I thought.
I walked to the front of the store and smiled at David.
"Clarissa, what are you doing here?" he asked me grinning.
"I came here for you," I smiled.
"Really?"
"Yeah, how would you feel about a double date. You, me, Chauncey and Roes,"
"You had me at 'I'"
I grinned. "See you tomorrow night at seven,"
"Okay," he smiled.
I walked away moving my hips a little more than I should.
I found Chauncey and glared at him as I walked out the store.
He chuckled and followed me.
"Did you do it?"
"Yeah,"
"And?"
"You get your stupid date,"
"I love you!" he said hugging me.
And that got me a kiss on cheek.
I tried to hid my grin by pushing him away playfully.
"Jerk!"
He laughed. "I owe you,"
"Yup,"
He wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we headed to the food court.
Chauncey bought me a smoothie and we shared a pretzel together.
As we walked around the busy mall we bumped into Tiffany.
"Hey," we said together.
"What's up?" she asked stuffing her hands in her pockets.
"Nothing, just hanging, want to join us?" I asked.
"Sure," she said as we walked.
Chauncey took this time to get to know Tiffany and they seemed to hit it off.
Chauncey dropped us off at my house. Tiffany stayed but Chauncey had to go home for dinner.
Tiffany and I lied on my bed and talked.
After a while she sat up and smirked. "So, how long have you liked Chauncey?"
