Au's

    *Au's*
  Au stands for 'Alternate Universe'. This basically means that it's the same characters from the series, but they're in different situations.
      For example, pretty much all the things in the last chapter were types of au's. I like well written au's, and like most people who read them, have a specific preference.
    I find the best au's for me are mafia au's. They're normally well-written if the author has a good view of the characters' personalities and knows what a mafia is and things related to it.
    But this is a rant book, and I can't talk all about the good parts of au's, so without further ado, let me present to you the good, the bad and the ugly; au rants.
    Like I mentioned before, oc x le character, y/n books, and non-canon shipping books are examples of au's. To me, it all depends on what the au is about, but sometimes you look at it and end up reading some terribly written oc book with an op Mary Sue as a mane character.
     *Defense*
  As you could probably tell, I had a hard time ranting about these. They have a wide reach, and so it really depends on how well the story is written.
     Unfortunately, I've had a hard time finding well written au's, and it's really annoying.

NA; I have a schedule now! The next rant will be about role plays and unfinished stories (I am going to sound like a hypocrite! Yeah!). After I run out of story type-things to rant about, I'll move on to certain ships, so that one person reading this, don't forget to comment!
