[ PART 3 please listen to the song attatched. ]

Jean stared at the television screen in boredum, only amused by the way Eren struggled to figure it out. Jean found the brunette somewhat cute, in a helpless and pathetic way. "Hmph," he groaned quietly, exhaling deeply before taking a hit from his cigarette. The sudden noise the other made caused Eren to look up, "are you making fun of me? It isn't my fault you have shitty cable!" Jean narrowed his eyes, grabbing the boy's arm in effort to take the remote from him, "pfft. I'll find a movie or something." The two toned male tapped at the remote, stopping at a random station playing Iron Man. "How about this? I've seen all of them but it's nice to reminisce," Jean relaxed, leaning back into the couch. "Fine with me," Eren mumbled, putting his feet up on the coffee table. "Get your feet off that, dickmunch," Jean swatted at the brunette's ankles, and he obeyed with a scoff.

"Hey asshole," Eren awoke to a harsh voice, his eyes fluttering open to find who it belonged to. It didn't take long at all, Jean was in his face, roughly tugging Eren's cheek. "You fell asleep half-way through the movie. It just ended," Jean let go of Eren's cheeks as they turned bright red. "Why'd you have to wake me up that way?" the boy huffed, folding his arms. "I sat here and nudged you and you wouldn't move. You were mumbling shit in your sleep too." Eren's eye's widened and he nearly jumped out of his skin, why did he suddenly feel so on edge? "L-like what? I wasn't bothering you, right?" he laughed nervously, scanning Jean's face for any indication of what happened while he slept. "Mh, well," Jean cleared his throat, "you weren't making any sense so I kind of ignored you." Eren's face twisted with confusion, "that's good, I guess. Still embarrassing."

Jean laughed, "yeah, you sounded pretty dumb." Eren felt heat rising to the tips of his years, "it's not my fault that you chose such a boring movie! It was hell to stay awake through that." Jean's eyes widened at the insult towards the movie, then quickly narrowing in digust, "I grew up with the comics! The movie is great you asshole." Eren folded his arms, "whatever, I was tired. What time is it?" he fumbled for his phone, finding it had already died. "Almost 1 am. I take it you're not a night owl," Jean raised a brow, showing Eren his phone. "No, I have early classes! I need sleep in order to get there in time, and function," he patted at his pockets, but the brunette found no keys, reminding him he drove here in Jean's car. "I hope you will get up early so we can leave," Eren ran a hand nervously through his hair, "I can't miss class, we're preparing another prefomance for next week and I can't miss it, I can't-" Jean lightly whapped the back of Eren's head, "chill. I'll be up and we can leave when you need. You won't miss a second."

Jean's words were hollow, only to comfort Eren. They were 20 minutes late, and Jean was half-dressed and brushing his teeth. "I told you I'm a night owl!" he hissed at the frantic brunette, who was nearly dragging him out the door. "You said I wouldn't miss class! Asshole," Eren scoffed, doing his best to rush the other. "Bring your shirt, put it on in the car. Don't forget your other shoe, moron," Eren was waving his arms in almost every direction, his hair a mess and bags under his eyes. He had woken up late, and he had no clue that Jean would take so long to get ready. Last night was a blur, his head was throbbing and his eyes burned. He felt like he hadn't slept for a week. He fell asleep during the movie, arguing with Jean, and then going to sleep again? He couldn't be sure.

He had other worries at the moment, "can we leave now?" Eren felt like he was going to be sick. "Yeah, yeah!" Jean stumbled out of his bedroom while trying to tighten his belt. "I don't have class until eleven, so can you drop me off at a starbucks nearby or something?" Jean asked as they made their way out of the apartment. "There's no time for that, you'll have to come to class with me," he unlocked the car, urging Jean to get in quicker. "I can drive ya'know..." the taller male sighed, climbing into the passenger seat, "it's my car." Eren rolled his eyes, backing the car out from the spot and taking off. "After the other night, you should give yourself time until you're sure you're okay to drive. Who knows what would happen if you were in that state while you were driving."

Jean looked up at Eren, who didn't meet his gaze, "I've driven like that before. It's not like being drunk or anything." Eren came to a stoplight, bringing the car to a halt, "okay, then what is it?" he asked, finally turning to look at Jean. "Maybe I'll tell you if you actually cared," he suddenly narrowed his eyes, looking towards the stop light. "Woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Jeez." Eren cleared his throat, trying not think much of the harsh way Jean responded. He'd leave it be, but he will find out what it was with this guy, sooner or later. He needed to know.
