I was more than surprised when Loki obediently walked to the dining hall with me. I expected him to go back on his words or run away or even try to kill me.

After dinner is finished I notice Loki hadn't touched any of the food on the table. He sits very reserved, his fingers winding together as he stares at the wall in front of him. I could tell he was uncomfortable in Thor's presence for whatever reason. Almost like he was scared of Thor.

"Off to bed then, I suppose?" Thor asks once I begin to stand.

"You have to go fight some bad guys so you better rest up." I side smile at him as I say this. Thor clears his throat as he remembers Loki is still sitting at the table.

"Loki you better not cause any trouble tonight." Thor warns. All sweetness he was using on me was drained in his tone. I knew Thor trusted me to deal with Loki, but if he was going to keep doing the sort of stuff that happened in the dungeon I wasn't sure how long I could keep up for.

Guards take Loki back to his cell for the night and I can finally relax. My heart slowed down and I could finally breathe evenly. Today had been such a whirlwind that I didn't know what to think. Of course Loki wasn't the man that I expected him to be, but he was certainly not what Thor described either.

As I lay down on my bed I can only think of Loki. About his face. About his body. Not that I wanted to, but as much as I hated to admit it Loki is a very attractive man. I would even go as far as to say he bested his brother in that arena by far.

There was just something about Loki that was compelling. Whenever my thoughts would shift to his eyes my heart would start to beat fast and I had to stop before I exploded or something. He was in fact the evil of the two brothers, but he seemed to be more interesting. In a secluded, messed up way of course.

Perhaps Loki didn't belong in the dungeons. I knew that him and Thor had a very messed up past but putting him in a secluded cell didn't seem like the right thing to do. Even if he was crazy. I can't help the worry that washes over me.

Loki had seemed quite hesitant to speak when he was around his brother, but he seemed completely fine around me. Thor hadn't told me much about his past with Loki, just that they didn't agree. I had enough family knowledge to understand that Loki was hiding something, and he was hurting because of it. Obviously Odin favored Thor. He wasn't in a dungeon. Maybe that's what was wrong.

Whatever Loki was going through I knew I wanted to find out, but I wasn't going to pry. Maybe nothing was wrong with him at all and he was just trying to get me to pity him, but whatever he was doing was working.

Thor's going away ball commences. It wasn't a normal thing we did, and definitely not something Thor would do, but the people of Asgard wanted to pay their respects to their hero. I'm not one for parties either but it was important to represent our people.

Women from one of Asgard's most prestigious dress maker shops bedazzle me with a fluffy dark green ball gown and silver jewelry. I had absolutely nothing wrong with wearing dresses, except for the fact that I could trip on them easily. Especially with the heels that they put me in.

They take great care in my makeup and hair, but I add my own special touch with a leather strap around my thigh to hold my dagger in, just in case.

The ball room was filled with Asgardians, dancing and laughing as I enter. There's a very happy and electric atmosphere that makes me smile.

Thor is seated on a balcony watching over as everyone dances. His eyes stop when they get to me, smiling and motioning for me to join him.

I climb the stairs and stand at Thor's side. He leans against the balcony in his formal blue and white suit. His hair was pulled back with care, his shoes shined and his face spotless of dirt and blood.
