Warrior Cats Tales Of Bayclan: Forest Of Stars

Chapter 7

One moon later..

Honeypaw stretched her leg as she walked out of her den to see cats under the high rock. She ran to the clearing, "Am I late?" Honeypaw asked. "No." Whispered Rainpaw "Your right on time."

Dovestar spoke, "I am going to check the borders for a little bit. Jaggedwhisker will be taking over until I'm back." Honeypaw had always wondered why Jaggedwhisker was chosen deputy, he's young and like his name he's a bit 'jagged'. 

Dovestar leaped off the highrock and left camp. 

Honeypaw saw Rainpaw, Leafpaw, and Pouncepaw sunbathing. She walked over. "Can you believe it that Meadowpaw and Goldpaw are now warriors. Well now they are Goldshine and Meadowpelt." Rainpaw mewed. Leafpaw flicked her tail in annoyance, "Yeah. I want to be a warrior soon."

"Be patient!" Snapped Pouncepaw "Will all have our time soon enough. At least I'll be a medicine cat." "Yeah, yeah, yeah. We get it Pouncepaw." Rainpaw hissed. Honeypaw puffed up her chest, "Well I got to go to the gathering." "Wowie! You're so lucky!" Rainpaw admired.

"Do you think Dovestar is ever coming back?" Asked Leafpaw. "I've spoken to Starclan and she's not dead yet. So that's good." "I know. I just miss her. Jaggedwhisker is to overwhelmed and going crazy." Leafpaw explained. Pouncepaw headed back to the Medicine Cat den. Honeypaw headed back to her den, hoping to get some rest.

"Let's hope I can sleep well." Honeypaw sighed and she curled up then slept.

Honeypaw was suddenly back in camp, but it looked different. "Where am I? Is this still Bayclan?"          Then Dovestar had appeared! Honeypaw nuzzled her but she just walked past. Dovestar left camp and Honeypaw followed her. She was going in the forest, but it didn't feel like the forest anymore.

"Dovestar? Where are you taking me?" Honeypaw asked. This doesn't feel like the clan territories anymore.

Honeypaw followed Dovestar into a weird forest and it was beautiful. Dovestar spoke for once, "The Forest Of Stars." The words echoed in Honeypaw's head. "Forest Of Stars, Forest Of Stars, Forest Of Stars." 

Honeypaw suddenly woke up, it was only a dream. She heard a scream, and that was reality. It was coming from the Medicine Cat den. Honeypaw rushed in, there was Otterpaw, Pouncepaw, and Flowerwish. 

"What's going on?" Honeypaw asked in a worried tone. "Jaggedstar came in with something in his mouth. He said it was good for the Medicine Cats. Pouncepaw tried it and I think it's Death Berries!" Flowerwish explained. 

Pouncepaw was choking, blood dripping from her mouth. She spurted out more blood and more. "H-H-Help.." Grasped Pouncepaw. More blood spurted from her mouth, so much. "She's dying!" Otterpaw yowled. "We have to save her!" 

"I'm trying as hard as I can! She's my apprentice, I need to help her." Flowerwish hissed. Pouncepaw spurted out more and more blood until she had collapsed. She was dead.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Screamed Otterpaw. "I am so sorry.. I don't know what it feels like to lose a sibling, but it must be so hard." Honeypaw spoke. Otterpaw sobbed. "I'm sorry I couldn't help you. This was no one's fault. Jaggedwhisker did that by accident."

Honeypaw felt sorrow, she walked out of the Medicine Cat. Pouncepaw is dead.
