The Deathstep division is particularly infamous among Phalanx for their reliance on sound and music to defeat their opponents. Likewise, they have outfitted their haywire autocannons to rely on sound instead of physical projectiles.
Deathstep haywires do not use a specified calibre of bullet, but instead, use their complex computer equipment and musical hardware to generate a sound that begins at 200 decibels and can reach as high as 500,000 decibels. Deathstep haywires technically do not have a limit, but the higher they go, the more damage they begin to cause to both themselves and any potential allies around them.
Defective Deathstep haywires are particularly dangerous as they do not limit themselves and will fire at anything unlucky enough to cross them, most likely causing their own destruction in the process. Soundwaves generated from these machines can travel through most opposing armour types without proper counters, causing critical damage or complete failure to internal components or organs.
