"i love you, kirari."

her words echoed across the silent yard, pink dusting across her cheeks as petals from the cherry blossom tree fell around her and the other girl.

the latter was silent as she stared at her.

one, two.

the sound of her heartbeat echoed so loudly within her that she was so sure the other girl could hear it.

a small dandelion was held out by her to the white haired girl as she looked down at her feet.

she could feel the gaze of the girl burning into her with those crystal blue eyes of hers.

those blue orbs that she fell in love with, despite them being cold and void of any emotion.

to her, they were the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. like ice it resembled, figuratively and literally. they were hard and cold, and the colour pierced into anyone who looked at her.

after a moment or two, the dandelion was taken from the girl and accepted by the other.

y/n raised her head slightly, just enough to see her rolling the stem of the plant in between her two fingers.

an unreadable expression was etched on her usually stoic face.

"it reminds me of you." she mused.

"you think so, kirari?"

the blue eyed girl gave a soft hum, a smile playing on her lips.

"so beautiful, yet so delicate."
