V's POV

The plant is gone?

EVE was surprised as well.

"Where's the thingy?" The captain asks, referring to the plant.

"Plant." Auto says.

"Plant. Right, right. Where is it?" The captain asks again while looking through the book. "Maybe we missed a step."

"Plant." EVE says while looking around for it. "WALL-E!" She says before flying over to us and scanning WALL-E's compartment and around us.

"EVE?" WALL-E asks in confusion.

"Plant!" EVE says.

This gets WALL-E to help look around for the plant. I do the same and start sniffing around.

"Why don't you scan her to be sure?" I hear the captain say to Auto.

EVE gasps before going back to her spot before her compartment opened.

I look over to see Auto scan EVE's compartment.

"Contains no specimen. Probe's memory is faulty." Auto says while looking at the captain.

"So then, we're not going to Earth?" Captain asks.

"Negative." Auto answers.

"I guess things go back to normal, huh?" The captain asks.

"Correct, Captain." Auto says.

"Well, false alarm!" The captain says while closing the book.

Just then, the machine above EVE leaves and the lights go back on.

"Probe must be defective." The captain says to Auto.

What the captain said causes EVE to sigh in frustration.

I felt bad for EVE.

"GO-4, send her to the repair ward..." The captain starts to say to Scanner.

Oh, so I guess his actual name is GO-4. Eh, whatever.

A red aura forms around EVE as she is being taken to the "repair ward."

I continue sniffing around while WALL-E was standing next to me and continues to look for the plant.

"...and have them run diagnostics on her. Make sure she's not-" The captain continues but screams for some reason.

I look in the captains direction to see him looking at us... Wait, us?!

I was freaking out a little.

But WALL-E was playing it cool and calmly by rolling over to the captain and shaking his hand while saying, "WALL-E."

I quietly stand there. I think fast and slowly sneak away from them.

But I fail when WALL-E picks me up and rolls back over to the Captain while saying, "V."

Just great.

The captain looks at the both of us before saying, "Have, uh, WALL-E and V cleaned. Maybe upgrade V. She looks like she can be of use to us."

WALL-E, EVE, and I get into a cart with GO-4 and head off to the repair ward.

Once we get off the elevator, the robot at the front desk waves goodbye to us, and WALL-E waves back.

"EVE." WALL-E says while looking at her.

EVE just gives a glare in his direction before looking back ahead.

I got a little scared as well as I sit closer to WALL-E.

As we make it to the repair ward, a door opens to reveal a lot of robots in cells. They look like they need to be repaired.

As we enter, a red device, with a yellow button, was put on EVE. The device was put on EVE's stomach that also connects to the side of her head.

I don't think I trust that thing.

Moments later, a mechanical arm pushes the yellow button on EVE's device, which shuts her down. The mechanical arm then takes EVE to one of the rooms.

That was unexpected.

"EVE!" WALL-E says in worry.

A mechanical arm comes from behind WALL-E and tries to put on one of those devices that was on EVE.

But WALL-E dodges in time and speeds off.

He's probably going to get EVE.

I was about to follow WALL-E, but I feel a mechanical arm grab onto my back. I try to struggle out of the arm's grip, but I couldn't

Another arm comes from in front of me and puts that red device on my chest.

And before I know it, I shut down.

I slowly wake up in one of the cells.

I am so confused right now. What just happened? How did I get in here?

For some reason, I feel a little different. I look around to see if I can see my reflection.

I look to my right to see one of the robots holding a small mirror. And I was able to see my reflection. And I was so different.

I was clean. My fur was stitched up, my fur was now soft and light gray instead of brownish gray, and my left eye was fixed.

As I was finished looking at my reflection,  I see WALL-E dash off towards the room EVE was in.

I wonder what he was doing this whole time.

I try to find a way to get out of my cell. Jumping out can be a possibility.

Once I get ready to jump, something unexpected happens. I start to hover.

I look down at my feet to see my paws replaced as jets. Cool! I have jets!

I fly out of my cell, but I lose control for a second.

When I get control again, I fly into the room WALL-E and EVE were in.

But what surprised me was that WALL-E was holding EVE's arm gun.

I bark to get their attention, but that startles WALL-E and the gun fires in my direction. I think fast and duck just in time.

The only problem was that the gun blasted a panel that was on the other side of the repair ward.

Huh, I wonder what that panel does.

"WALL-E!" EVE yells at him.

Just then, all of the cells disappear.

The robots that were in the cells look around before heading towards the door. But they stop and turn in our direction.

What now?

The robots run in out direction and picks up WALL-E and I.

Oh, great. This is like a prison escape. The robots think that since we were in cells as well, we need to escape as well.

This is definitely not good.
