WALL-E (OC Insert)

Chapter 9

V's POV

WALL-E and I are being carried by the robots from the repair ward, and we are being taken to who-knows-where.

As we are going down the halls, EVE was following after us.

All of a sudden, the robots stop running, and this causes me to fall in front of everyone.

I look up to see the security robots standing  in front of us. I get scared and curl into a ball while shaking in fear.

Just then, EVE comes next to me with WALL-E following behind her. EVE looks at WALL-E and takes her blaster from him before putting it back on.

But during that time, one of the security robots takes a picture of us. And I don't know why it did that.

I soon figure out why when all of their screens has the picture of us with the word "caution," on it.

"WALL-E! V!" EVE yells at us in anger.

This scares both me and WALL-E.

We look back at the security robots to see them aiming lasers at us.

And just as they were about to shoot, EVE grabs onto WALL-E and flies off, with me following behind while using my jets that were on my feet.

It's a good that I am getting used to using my jets too.

As we fly off, the robots from the repair ward and the security robots follow after us.

We fly for a while until we find a hiding spot, which is next to a few windows.

EVE looks out the window, and I follow her gaze to see a few escape pods. EVE then takes off with WALL-E as I follow after her.

We soon enter an elevator that will take us to the escape pods.

As we wait, we stand there in awkward silence while EVE stands there with an angered expression.

Just then, the screen at the top of the elevator shows the picture of us from earlier. The speaker says, "Caution. Rouge robots."

Well, this won't be good for us.

WALL-E points at the screen while saying, "EVE."

After a millisecond, EVE shoots the screen in anger.

Wow, she really is mad at us.

WALL-E slowly shrinks into his box form while I scoot closer to WALL-E.

After a while, the elevator door opens and EVE hovers out, with us following behind her.

We enter the room that holds the escape pods and EVE starts typing on a panel.

I didn't know what we were doing here, but I just sit there next to WALL-E, who is staring at EVE's hand.

WALL-E then hesitantly says, "EVE?"

Just then, lights turn on and an escape pod opens.

"Earth." EVE says while pointing at the pod and then at a screen that shows a picture of the Earth.

WALL-E understands what she was saying and goes into the pod, with me following after him.

But EVE stops me from entering and shakes her head.

Wait, why can't I go with WALL-E? Is EVE sending only WALL-E to Earth?

WALL-E looks at us and motions for us to sit next to him.

But EVE shakes her head and says, "Directive." while pointing at herself.

WALL-E knew what was going on and leaves the escape pod. Once he's out, he goes into his box form.

"WALL-E." EVE says before putting him into the escape pod.

Just as she was going to the panel, WALL-E rolls out and goes into his box form again.

"WALL-E." EVE says sternly.

But before she could do anything, we hear someone coming our way.

EVE quickly turns everything off and has us stand next to the wall. She shuts down while WALL-E is in his box form, and I hide behind WALL-E.

Once the elevator door opens, I peek from behind WALL-E to see GO-4 turn on the escape pod and enters it.

WALL-E, EVE and I peek into the escape pod to see GO-4 pull out the plant.

He had the plant the whole time?!

"Plant." EVE whispers.

GO-4 starts to leave the escape pod and we go back into our hiding spots.

We watch as GO-4 stands by the panel, but we also notice that WALL-E isn't with us. We look back into the escape pod to see WALL-E holding the plant.

"EVE, V." WALL-E says while holding the plant up.

"WALL-E!" EVE say while going towards the escape pod.

But it was too late, for GO-4 has launched the escape pod.

Once GO-4 leaves, I run over to the window and bark at the escape pod.

"V!" EVE says to me.

I look in her direction and see her motion for me to follow her. As I follow her, we go into an airlock and fly out into space.

We start to follow after the escape pod in high speed.

As we follow after the escape pod, it starts getting further away.

I use all of my energy on my jets as much as I can.

But after a moment of following the escape pod, it blows up.

EVE and I stop in shock and fear.

"No. No." EVE says before flying towards the explosion with me following after her.

WALL-E can't be gone. He has to have survived.

As we fly towards the spot the escape pod exploded, we see WALL-E zoom past us while saying, "V! EVE!"

I look back to see WALL-E moving with a fire extinguisher.

"WALL-E!" EVE says with excitement as she and I fly towards WALL-E

I start barking in happiness. WALL-E is alive!

WALL-E then uses the fire extinguisher to fly in our direction.

But since we were flying towards each other in high speed, we zoom past each other again.

We stop and face WALL-E.

"EVE, V." WALL-E says while slowly flying towards us.

"WALL-E." EVE starts to say.

But WALL-E stops her by opening his compartment and pulling out the plant.

He saved the plant!

EVE scans it before putting it in her compartment and saying, "WALL-E!" Before hugging him.

They spin around in happiness while hugging each other. And a few seconds later, they kiss. Well, more like their faces touch. But I think that is considered a kiss for robots.

Anyways, WALL-E floats there in shock after they kissed.

EVE giggles before saying, "WALL-E."

WALL-E snaps out of it and uses the fire extinguisher to fly around, with us following after him.

After a while of flying around the Axiom, WALL-E's fire extinguisher didn't work anymore and EVE carries him.

EVE then looks around to find a way back into the Axiom.

I look around as well, and once I find an open hatch, I bark before flying off, with them following me.

EVE takes the lead and heads to the captain.

But it won't be easy because of the security robots that are still trying to find us.

Hopefully, we can find a way to the bridge.
