Marinette was all glorious in her silk red dress. Long, reaching to the ground with a small train trailing behind and an open slit that goes dangerously up her slim leg. To finalize her design, she included a plunging neckline with a large black pin to add extra spice near her chest area.

She had decided to go vanilla with her makeup. A nice Smokey eye with a nude lipstick and a clean up-do to top it all off.

For some reason it seemed that Alya had decided to ditch her, going in without waiting for her. Coming a little late didn't help it either. She was sure she would get an earful from Chloe.

She approached the large ball room the party was being held in. There were butlers standing out the luxurious doors collecting invitations.

She handed her invitation to which the butler nodded his head respectively to her and smiled. She took of her mini jacket, finally revealing the last piece of the dress. The open back. She had spent a month specifically designing this dress to perfection along with the fashion show designs.

A waitress approached her with a single black mask with red embroidery. Thank god it wasn't the other way around. She would be easy to figure out then.

Marinette placed the mask on her face and then walked through the now open doors. The music was all classic till now, people were all holding their champagne glasses and talking together. That is of course until she stepped in. Every set of eyes in the room were placed on her.

She had already seen Alya's dress when they had went dress shopping together with Chloe prior so she calmly approached the girl with the golden one-shoulder dress and the blonde in the black short dress. They stood with two men. Nino in a blue suit and Adrien who wore a luxurious looking black suit with lime forest green lining.

She tried to ignore all eyes as she approached them. The dress looked fabulous on Alya. It adorned her small baby bump.

"You two are traitors. You know that?" Marinette glared.

"Yea, I'm sorry, but you know who the real traitor is?" Alya crossed her arms and looked at Nino who held a champagne glass in his hand.

"Someone decided to ditch me and drink. I am jealous of all these champagne glasses. They look so good." Alya whined out.

"No drinking babe." Nino put his arm around a disappointed Alya. He snickered as he passed her a glass of the non-alcoholic beverage he had specifically requested. "Not till this little bean is out." He caressed the small bump adoringly as he kissed her cheek. Marinette laughed at the cute exchange.

"Wow Marinette. Your dress looks gorgeous." Adrien complemented. "You didn't show me this design before."

"I didn't show anyone this design. Took me a while to finish between all the fashion show chaos, but i'm glad you like it." She blushed a little rose under the black mask.
