Chapter 18: The beach (Part 2)

Jenni P.O.V.

When I woke up this morning, I decided to go for a walk. When I see Ricky in his car on his way to my house, he parked his car on the street, but I just kept walking.

"Slow down, this isn't a track meet" Ricky yelled as I started walking really fast, and ignoring him.

"How come you haven't called me back?" he continued.

"Why haven't I called you back?" I said repeating him twice in an angry tone.

"Why are you mad at me, I don't understand what I did to you?" he said innocently.

"You kissed that snoty bitch Shelby, and didn't even think about telling me. Then on top of all that you act like your'e the innocent one in this whole thing. Well I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you and your perfect little life!!" I said letting all my anger out from these past few days.

"I am so sorry!!" He said with that sweet innocent vioce and that hot lisp.

"Sorry, Sorry!! Is all you got, your'e no better then any of my other exs. You know I thought you were different and wasn't a jerk, but I was so wrong!!" I said shaking my head and heading back to my house, and locked the door when I got there.

I went into my room, and tried slamming my door, when I realised it wasn't there because I'm still grounded. Thank god it is early and my mom is still asleep so my mom couldn't see me cry. When I looked out my window I saw that his car is still in front of my house.

Then I got a call from Kendra asking if I wanted to go to the beach, but I turned her down because I'm just too upset. Then I took my phone and unblocked Ricky when I saw that he called me over fourty times! He called me agian, so I decided to answer.

"Hello" he said after I answerd and didn't say hello to him.

"Look, I don't know if we can ever get over this fight, and I don't know if you want to talk to me, and I don't know if your'e even listening to me right now, but all I know is I love you, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I won't give up until you forgive me. Can we put this behind us and forget about the past and think about the future?" he said, it sounded like he was crying.

"It's too late" I whispered to him on the phone and hung up.

About fifteen minutes later he leaves. I feel like someone just stabbed me a thousand times and then shot me without killing me, but bad enough to make me feel the pain.

So I decided to call Kendra, but she didn't answer, she must be at the beach right now. So I decided to take my car keys (since I got my car back) and left to the beach, with makeup running down my face. By the time I got there I saw Kendra having the time of her life with Connor, Kar, and Kian. So I decided to go to an ice cream place near by.

When I got in there I got the biggest cup of ice cream I could get and got tons of different toppings, when I was done paying for it and everything I sat down on a stool in front of the main counter. There was a bunch of open seats, and no one was sitting here. Then a really hot guy walked up to the counter and sat three seats away.

"Rough day I take it?" He asked randomly looking at me.

"Ya, the worst, heartbreak." I said nodding my head

"Ouch, by the amount of ice cream you got I can tell he cheated on you?"

"Yes, you are very good, I have to admit that" I said smiling.

"My name is Erick"

"And mine is Jenni" I said smiling at him.

We were talking for about two hours about our life, and we just have so much in common, it's like it's ment to be. I found out he is 22 and goes to a police academy. Which is kind of odd that it's agianst the law for someone his age to be dating someone my age. But I like that bad side in guys.

"Hey I got to go to my mom's house but here's my number, maybe you will call me?" He said winking at me.

"Maybe." I said smiling.
