The wind was rough, the stars were glowing, Sage and Morgayne were cold as ice. With no shelter or food, they had to live off what they could find in the woods. Sage started fire for them to warm up and Morgayne tried building shelter out of tree branches she could find. Morgayne built her hut out of wooden branches, so she wasn't unfamiliar with wood.

She looked back and was astonished to see that her hair had changed color. It had been brunette, now she had white, silky hair. She showed it to Sage. "I've never seen anything like that in my 10 years of being a healer." Sage replied.

"Here, put some of this oil on you hair, might help you roots." Sage gave her a bottle filled with blue oil. It had a weird odor, a weird texture, everything about it was weird. She applied it smoothly on her hair and just as the strange liquid touched her hair, she felt a familiar touch, a motherly touch. Morgayne decided to ignore this and started to feast off of a nearby rabbit that was hunted by Sage. Although the rabbit had no seasoning, Morgayne and Sage ate as much as they could. After all, they had been travelling for over 6 hours without any food or water. Sage found a nearby lake and quickly drank some water. Thirst was gone and they went to sleep in the small hut that Morgayne had built.

With the peaceful sounds of the birds chirping, trees dancing, Morgayne and Sage had woken up. They were ready for today's journey. Before departing, they ate some left over from last night's dinner, and drank some water and were off to a great start, until they noticed water from the nearby ocean (they didn't know there was an ocean nearby) rushing towards the woods, where they stood with fear.
