"When the wondrous but seemingly deep waters are quiet, I feel awakened." Morgayne whispered to herself on a very quiet night. She strolled along the beach line for hours talking to herself, under the bright stars.

She is an orphan, a curious one. Morgayne is her name. It means bright sea. Her soul is very connected to the waters but yet she feels threatened by its calm tides. She hasn't found her true self yet, it's like her body is awakened but her soul is still fast asleep in a far away land. Morgayne had been abandoned by her one and only family when she was 3, since then she has been traumatized.

You tell her one thing, she will believe you but won't seem to care about it. She loves the ocean, she really does, but is scared to go swim like a happy fish. She talks to herself for hours under the stars. No one knows what she talks about but she does.

Once she was talking to herself as usual and an unknown man kept staring at her from a distance, she threatened to kill him. His name was Víđarr. His physique was something out of a novel. Big, fat muscles, 6 feet tall, handsome, strong but gentle. He had beautiful olive green eyes, just like Morgayne. Morgayne felt connected with him for a second but then had a boiling rage inside her. The only time she was fierce like fire.

Morgayne knows only one thing about her family and that is her mother is, or was a brunette just like she is.
On a Sunday late afternoon, she spotted the same man staring at her from a distance. Morgayne tried to ignore him from his snake like eyes but couldn't help but look back at him again. The only difference this time was he was with someone. Someone with silky red hair, glowy skin, and just as tall as Víđarr. The person appeared to be just as strong as him.

Morgayne decided to approach them and threaten them, but she was 2 feet away from them when the red haired lady started humming a song which seemed very familiar to Morgayne.

Without distracting herself she raged on "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? TRESPASSING ON MY PROPERTY! YOU MUST LEAVE THIS IS INSTANT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. YOU MUST HAVE HEARD ME WRONG THE LAST TIME YOU CAME." Víđarr calmly responded by introducing him and his companion, Sage. "Sage, I've heard that name before. Very familiar" Morgayne thought.

"Hello, Morgayne! How are you? I haven't seen you for a long time. We are here for a vital piece of information for your ongoing search" Sage said with the calmest voice anyone could ever imagine. "WHAT SEARCH? I TOLD YOU TO GET OFF MY PROPERTY! I SAID GET-"
"This is not your property and never will be. And if you will calm down we can talk." Morgayne was irritated by Sage's lack of emotions, but she decided to calm down.

"Víđarr here is my brother and he has decided to help you out on your ongoing search. He is a very brave man with a fine intellect."
"Well I'm sorry to break your heart but I'm not interested in this ongoing search of yours, thank you. Now you can go. Bye" Morgayne responded firmly. Morgayne thought she would explain about this so called search but instead they both nodded and left. She still didn't know why Sage said that this is not her property but after several thoughts, she decided to put them in a far away corner just like the other thoughts she has.

A month passed by and just like that she was 18. Since she didn't have a proper home she decided to go looking for some houses. She only had a hundred centinas but it was enough to buy a house in the area she lived in. Just as she was on her search for houses she spotted Víđarr few blocks away. She quickly turned the other way to miss their possible encounter. She arrived to her small hut, made some lunch for herself out of the food that she had stolen in the market that day and then decided to take a nap.

She woke up with water in her hut. Struggling to breath, she quickly began to swim out of her hut because it was filled with water. She spotted Víđarr trying to tell her something but the heavy wind wouldn't let his words reach her ears. Finally, he came swimming, risking his life in the massive flood, and came to help her out but it was too late. Morgayne had already drowned into the depths of the flood.

Víđarr, heart broken that he didn't save her life, swam back to safety. Underwater was where Morgayne had gone but she didn't die. She thought she had died, she thought she was in heaven and that's why it felt soo peaceful but then it came to her senses that she was breathing underwater. What was surprising to her the most was that she was in the ocean, not in the dirty mud flood water.

Morgayne had been transported to the ocean the minute her soft, white hair touched the flood water. Her brain wanted her to go back to shore, but her heart kept telling her to explore the wondrous depths of the ocean. Her white hair shinning underwater as the sun shined over her. She felt like a magical creature, like a mermaid.

Morgayne turned her neck towards her lower body to check if she was an actual mermaid, but unfortunately she didn't see a mermaid tail. She kept swimming and swimming, exploring and exploring, until she was suddenly washed upon shore. She got up, wet like a bird after a storm, and quickly started finding her way home. After 20 mins of walking, she realized she was far away from home. Morgayne was frustrated, she was hungry, cold, had no shelter, and the worst part was that the freezing cold night was ahead.

She spotted Sage, after an hour of walking. She didn't want to go for help considering how she talked to her, but she couldn't see anyone than her along that isolated road. She didn't think of why Sage must be walking down the lonely road, the only thing on her mind was how to get back home. She caught up with Sage who suddenly started running.
"Sage, Sage wait!" Morgayne shouted. Sage turned back, astonished she started staring at her. They both held eye contact for several seconds until it got very awkward.

"Sage, what are you doing here? Can you please help me get back home? I'm soaking wet....and so are you....look I'm sorry for the way I acted when I first met you. Please forgive me. I don't know this area and I have neither food nor shelter, please help me get back home". Sage took a minute to think and decided to respond back.

"Hi Morgayne, it's fine I forgive you. And yes I can get you back home but it will take a long time. Our home is miles away, and it will take an eternity" she replied back with the same calm voice.
"Our home?" Morgayne asked in confusion.
