I quietly snuck behind Jeff into the house of his next victim. He was standing over her bed staring at her, waiting to pounce. I stood behind him, still and focused. Any minute now I will jump on Jeff and get him away from the girl. Jeff whips around and smiles so wide its sickening. Jeff quickly stabs the girl in her stomach before I can stop him and runs away. She screams in pain. I walk over to the bed and lean over her. I plunge my knife into her heart
"Shhh..."I say and stroke her hair "it's ok." She stares up at me with a look of fear and goes blank. I turn away from her.
"Shouldn't have gone to sleep" I grumbled. The parents footsteps were heard walking up the stairs. I opened the window in the bedroom and jumped out. I hid behind bushes and peered out of them, watching the parents discover their dead daughter. I sighed in frustration and ran out of the suburbs and into a large field where the woods resided at the end of it. The cool summer breeze passed right through me, feeling pleasant. Nothing is truly pleasant anymore though. Summer manages to remind me of my parents cruel death. Their faces blank and eyes glassy, smiles carved in their face from ear to ear. Jeff standing behind them. No. The summer breeze left me, reminding me I should also get going. I disappeared into the woods. I had a feeling I would not be alone here. Twigs and leaves snapped and crunched under my feet as I walked in the dark paradise. It was truly a dark paradise. The woods shelter me from people, which makes it a safe haven. But it also gives me time to look back on old memories which does me no good. This place is killing me yet saving me. My physical was here but my mind and thoughts seemed to be on a different planet. Always calculating, deciding, choosing what to do next, I have to fend for myself. It is quite a challenge. Especially when I'm wanted by authorities. Food and money is my big problem. I haven't eaten in two weeks and I'm literally dying to eat anything. It seems the only way I can get anything I need is to commit another crime. There is no turning back now from what I've done but I'd rather stay low for a while. Maybe I'll steal a pop tart or something from the drug store. I sigh and continue to walk through the woods. Everything is silent and still.
"I guess I should enjoy my solitude while I have it."I mumble to myself. I cease my walking and sit down to take a rest. I look at the breathtaking(not so breathtaking)scenery surrounding me. How can something so beautiful be tortured looking at the same time? I guess these are the questions that never get an answer. I myself am a question that can be answered, a problem that can't be solved. I study my unkept fingernails. The same breeze returns and rustled through the trees and I almost smile. I quietly sing the song my mother taught me when I was young.(A.N :the song is Tomorrow will be kinder by The Secret Sisters I do not own this song or the lyrics)

Black clouds are behind me
I now can see a hill
Often I wonder why I try
Hoping for an end
Sorrow weighs my shoulders down
And trouble haunts my mind
But I know the the present will not last
And tomorrow will be kinder
Tomorrow will be kinder
It's true I've seen it before
A brighter day is coming my way
Yes tomorrow will be kinder
Today I've cried a many tear
And pain is in my heart
Around me lies a somber scene
I don't know where to start
But I feel warmth on my skin
The stars have all aligned
The wind has blown but now I know
That tomorrow will be kinder
Tomorrow will be kinder
I know I've seen it before
A brighter day is coming my way
Yes tomorrow will be kinder
A brighter day is coming my way
Yes tomorrow will be kinder
I look up at the bits of sky not covered by trees and frown. The sky seems empty, no stars at all from down here. I hear bushes rustling. I scan the forest and plain in sight is Slenderman. I ignore his presence completely and close my eyes. When I open them Slender is closer.
"What do you want?" I growl. He stares down at me.
"I needed to discuss an important matter with you," he replied. I gestured for him to continue."It's about your living arrangements. I realize you have no place to stay and I'm cordially inviting you to stay at the mansion."
"Well I'm cordially asking to mind your own business. I can take care of myself."Slenderman pauses for a moment then speaks:
"Not even maybe just staying the night and having a delicious, mouthwatering, breakfast?"I started to realize how bad my stomach was growling and consented to Slenderman's offer. I plan to leave immediately after breakfast in the morning so I can be out of there quick and easy. Slenderman teleports with me to his luxurious mansion holding the creepy pastas. This reminds that Jeff could be in there. I feel for my knife in my jean's pocket and am relieved to feel the bump of its handle. Just for protection in case I have a scenario with Jeff. I can't actually kill Jeff in the mansion, it's against rules but whatever I do outside of there is my business. We both walk inside to his luxurious living room. I see Sally curled up fast asleep on a velvety purple couch and BEN playing his psp on a pink plush one. Slenderman leads me past them and upstairs to a hallway.
"This is the housing hallway."I noticed another flight of stairs at the end of the hallway
"What do those lead to?"I point at the stairs.
"Private and personal rooms. No need to go up there."His voice sounded urgent. He shows me to my room and leaves me to explore it.(the picture is her room) I sit down on my bed and stare at the floor. What is my next move for tomorrow? I must stop dawdling around. I laid my head on my soft memory foam pillow and fell asleep.

My eyes open slowly as I wake up. The shutters let a little bit of the morning light filter into my room. I sit up in bed and yawn. My stomach growls loudly and I remember that I haven't eaten in forever. I get out of bed and change my clothes into the only other outfit I have, an old shirt that has a blood stain on the back that I cover up with my hair and some ripped up jeans,in okay condition. I manage to find the dining hall in the huge mansion and sit myself down. There is food already set out on the table and plates too. I take a plate and put fruit salad and oatmeal on it. Sally skips over and takes a juice box. I sit back down and dig in. The food is so delicious I almost take seconds but I realize I should get going before anyone convinces me to stay. I put my plate and silverware in the dishes tub and go to find Slenderman. I find his office and knock on the door.
"Come in."he says. I open the door and stand in the room awkwardly.
"Take a seat"he points to an chair.
"No that's fine I just came in to thank you for your hospitality and to let you know that I will be leaving now." Slenderman stared at me with his blank face.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay longer?" He asked.
"No I'm gonna leave. I need to keep moving." I said hastily.
"Ok, if that's what you want then you may leave, visit again sometime."he said and returned to his work. I walked out of his office and shut the door behind me. I turned to leave and was met face to face with Jeff.
"What are you doing here?!"
"I was just leaving."I said as I brushed past him and out of the mansion. Jeff followed behind. We both went out through the front and ran out in front of the mansion. I pulled out my knife and so did he.
"Plain old Jane again isn't it?What a drag."He taunted. I lunged at Jeff and pinned him on the ground. Jeff suddenly turned the tables on me and I ended up on bottom.
"I'm gonna give you a pretty smile."he said while lightning tracing his knife over my mouth to my ear. I broke free of his hold and elbowed him in the stomach. I got back on my feet and Jeff did the same just as quickly. I lunged again and this time Jeff kicked me onto the ground and stabbed my arm. I winced slightly but ignored the wound and got back and managed to put in a few punches before things started to get really blurry. Jeff pinned me again and sneer at me in my last moments of consciousness. Some may call me strong and fearless, but I am truly weak.
