Who is she/who is he?

The wedding ceremony unfolded, and as the various rituals concluded, the time for lunch arrived. Ryan, Zoey, and their parents, Ashley and David, made their way to the lunch section. Groom's family extended an invitation for Ashley and David to join the bride's family for dinner, but Ryan and Zoey, feeling shy, insisted their parents go without them.

The siblings opted for the separate lunch section for wedding attendees. Seated with their plates, they began enjoying the delicious meal and chatting about the food. Suddenly, a familiar voice greeted Zoey. It was Wanda, her high school best friend, whom she hadn't seen in four years. Ryan, busy with his meal, greeted Wanda, and the three engaged in conversation.

Wanda noticed Ryan and asked Zoey if he was her brother. Ryan and Wanda exchanged introductions and pleasantries. Wanda, realizing she might be interrupting their lunch, apologized, but Zoey reassured her it was not a bother. After expressing their excitement at the unexpected reunion, Wanda bid them farewell, and they continued their lunch.

After some time, Zoey and Ryan went in search of their parents. Finding them engaged in conversation with other guests, their parents inquired if they had dinner. Confirming they had, the siblings joined their parents.

Wanda approached them again, and Zoey introduced her to Ashley as her high school best friend. Meanwhile, Ryan, feeling a bit bored, scanned the crowd and noticed a girl in a beautiful white dress heading towards the reception section.

Suddenly, Wanda called out to the girl, "Kate." Ryan observed as Kate acknowledged Wanda's gesture and indicated she was going to the reception. Ryan learned that Wanda and Kate were best friends. As Kate walked away, Ryan admired her beauty, but quickly reminded himself not to get too excited, realizing his imagination might be getting ahead of reality.

Returning to Zoey and Wanda's conversation, Zoey asked if Wanda was related to the bride's family. Wanda explained their connection – Sophia's mother is the sister of Wanda's mom, making Sophia Wanda's cousin. Zoey shared her own family connection to Uncle Patrick. Excitement filled the air as the two friends realized they were now more than friends; they were family.

Suddenly, someone tapped Ryan on the back. Turning around, he was shocked to find his best friend, Taryn. The two exchanged greetings, and Taryn explained she was there with her parents, who were friends with Uncle William (Patrick's father). Ryan, surprised and delighted, shared that Uncle Patrick was his uncle. They decided to capture the moment with selfies.

As they posed for pictures, Kate walked by and observed them. Misinterpreting the situation, she thought they were a couple. Kate recognized Taryn from school but couldn't recall Ryan's name, leaving both Kate and Taryn in a state of confusion about the identities of the girl and boy in the pictures.
