After the wedding, Wanda became a frequent visitor to Zoey's house every weekend, reconnecting after four years apart due to different study locations. Ryan, initially reserved, started warming up to Wanda, considering her like family. However, a lingering curiosity about a girl named Kate surfaced.

During a casual weekend chat, Ryan couldn't resist asking about Kate, whom Wanda had mentioned before.
Ryan: "Sis Wanda, do you remember the girl you called in the guest room?"
Wanda: "Oh, you mean Kate?"
Zoey: "Who's Kate? Looks like someone has a crush."

Wanda: "Kate is my best friend, and Margaret, Kate's mom, and Victoria, Sophia's mom, have been childhood friends. We're like family."

Ryan: (gives his mobile number) "Okay, but how will I say who I am if she asks?"
Wanda: "I'll tell her nicely about you. Don't worry."
Ryan: "Okay, sis, but if she doesn't answer my text, I'll be too shy to see her again."
Wanda: "Chill, buddy! She's a good person. Nothing's going to happen like that."

Wanda and Kate were neighbors and best friends. One day, Wanda visited Kate's house and shared the news.

They entered Kate's room, and Wanda revealed Ryan's inquiry about Kate.
Wanda: "One guy asked about you. He saw you at Sophia's wedding, and he's totally into you."

Wanda: "I'm serious. His name is Ryan, and he's Zoey's brother, my best friend."
