Chapter 3: Her Life

"Mom, just wait ! Im doing my make up !" She yells hysterically.

"Leya , you're gonna be late. Come on now. "

"You really hate me dont you ? I'll just finish it in the car i guess !"

"Sweetheart,you don't need all that make up on anyways."

Leya rolls her eyes. Getting her way and being complemented is all she's ever known .

Leyas Mom is a Doctor that works too much to have time for her daughter and her Dad is a Lawyer that occasionally cheats when he says he'll be home late. He let's Leya have whatever she wants.

"I don't even know why I'm going to school , Eric broke up with me last year on the last day of school and Kelsey got with him just to make me look stupid !"

"Who needs boys ?" Her dad said hopefully through a smile.

Leya just stared out of the window as they drove. Life is hard , she thought.
