Sam entered his new dorm and shut the door behind him, half expecting to see another person standing there, unpacking their belongings. Luckily, no one was there, which meant Sam got to choose his own bed. Not exactly the most important decision currently, but it beats small-talking with some random guy he doesn't know.
Sam set down the suitcase he packed much earlier today, slowly remembering the process he and Dean went through with their father, rushing them out the door to get to school on time.
Sam pushed the memory to the side and started unpacking his few belongings.
Not long after, a door slammed behind him. His new roommate, he guessed.
He turned around and prepared to greet his new "friend".
At first, he saw a short, blond-haired boy. But upon further investigation, he saw he had sunglasses on his head, a small lollipop in his mouth, and a backpack that seemed to be carrying nothing but candy.
The boy noticed Sam was in the room, and rushed to greet him.
"Hello!", The boy said, reaching his hand out for Sam to shake it.
"Hi," Sam replied, reluctantly shaking the boy's hand, "Um, I'm Sam, just to get that out of the way."
"Hey, Sam. My name's Gabriel, but you can refer to me as Gabe, or My Liege!" he stated, chewing his sucker.
Sam chuckled, "I think I prefer Gabe."
"Gabe it is then!" he said whilst taking his backpack off and setting it on the bed opposite of Sam's.
Sam continued to unpack, it's a good thing this Gabe-guy was friendly, it could've been worse.
Sam started to wonder how Dean was doing in his dorm room as well, hopefully his situation with his own new roommate was going well.

Castiel had set his suitcase next to his bed and started to unpack. He thought that he should've told his brother before they left home to pack more than just lollipops and gobs-topers. Castiel sighed, Gabriel can be such an idiot sometimes..
He started to make his bed, when the door opened behind him. He turned to see a broad shouldered young man with golden hair smirking at the room.
"Hey pal," He greeted Castiel, "How's it going?"
"It's going very well," he replied. "Thank you."
"Well what's your name?" the boy asked, "I'm Dean, by the way. Dean Winchester."
"Castiel Novak."
"Nice to meet you," Dean said, going to his own bed to set his bags down.
There was a long awkward pause while the two of them were each unpacking their own separate belongings. They made their beds, and set their personal items in their proper places.
"So um," Dean started, "What's your story?"
Castiel wondered for a moment about whether or not to tell this Dean how he got to this school in the first place. "Well, let's just say I made some bad choices and my parents kicked us out and put my brother and I here."
"Woah," Dean chuckled, "What'd you do?"
"It's more of what my brother did," Castiel explained, "He um.. got me, and himself, drunk... Things happened, and now I have a tattoo."
"You WHAT?" Dean burst out laughing. "That's hilarious, man!"
Castiel turned red in embarrassment, not sure if Dean was being friendly or making fun of him.
"Man, your brother sounds like a real trouble maker," Dean said, his laughter dying down, "I'd like to meet him, and see this tattoo of yours sometime."
"Okay," Castiel agreed, "Maybe sometime later."
They both went back to unpacking their things while Castiel thought to himself about the new school year with this new friend of his. Hopefully it won't end up like last year at his old school, where at the end of the year, he didn't have one friend in sight. This year, he swore would be better.

A/N:
Hello! Thank you for sticking around this long to read my failure of a story. Sorry for not writing anything lately, I've had a serious writer's block and I had no idea how to continue this story. Luckily I actually thought of something, even if it isn't the longest chapter I've made. Thank you for reading, and I'll try to write more.
