The Sentient City

Chapter 2: The city discovers an old evil has return

The city surveys her surroundings by shining a light on the lamppost on the corner of Westworld and East Street. She is using her alien eyes to probe into the darkness of the sky. The terror of the glowing red figure blinds her view of the area. She had to use her backup blue laser glass eye that gives as a gift by a scientist who discovers her alien identity years ago. She successfully penetrates the blinding effects of invading force. The enemy retreats temporarily in the backend of the city. She senses that her foe is just licking its wounds meaning recovering from it,s injury.

The protector of the city reconciles to herself that her opponent is more formidable than the average predator she had defeated before. The battle had affected the energy source of the alien being,s laser glass eye. The protector rescans her city for any proof of the evil one,s after effects of it,s attempt to destroy her domain. She is terrified to see that one of her resident Serena, s workplace Research Alternative Medicine Institute has destroyed and along with the healing herbal biological garden. She transformed herself into a human shape that resembles an ancestor of humankind who had lived on her native planet centuries ago.

She refers to herself as Protector Athena in her human form due to her being inspired by Greek Mythology of the people of Greece. She learns about the history of Greece and culture from a historian named Nicolas. She becomes the citizen of Athens, Greece and made the city her primary headquarters of her fellow sentient city protectors.  She traveling back and forth to New York City to Athens in her human form of a dearly departed friend who had died the genocide of mankind at hands of  Destroyers of Life.

Protector Athena escapes her planet in the year 2500  the dawn of the New  Year solstice celebrates by the indigenous people of the Lavender World that were named by the first colonists due to the purple fields of flowers. She discovers a world of distinctive contrast, yet, a sense of familiarly to her six senses: touch, smell, sight, hearing and telepathic communication. Protector Athena,s most powerful telepathy raises as she approaches an field of lavender.  
The plants begin to respond to the presence of Protector Athena by emitting of the spark of fragrance that drawn her further into the field of essential flowers as in result increase her five senses confusing her alien mind. Protector Athena feeling compels to touch the lavender flower with her right hand, then it suddenly embraces her as if the plant knew her from other time and place. 

She felt a sudden urge to explore the ancient ruins of Greece that puzzled mentally and emotionally. Protector Athena feared to leave her adopted city vulnerable to the dark forces that humanity has no technological over them, however, she possessing no knowledge of the human race,s Heavenly Father. She felt prompt to seek guidance from Serena who is a student of Anthropology of Religion and Spirituality  due  to Protector Athena limited knowledge and understands involves concept God with the exception the notion of  Creator alongside Greek mythology.
