He looked around quickly to see if anything had been taken,

he figured he must be mistaken,

for when he looked down his heart was missing.

It was very unforgiving.

He longed for the kisses,

of the one who hisses.

For he knew he had it,

and he didn't dare grit.

He must seem weak for he was no buffoon,

and he was quite immune.

Poison had no effect,

for it was indirect.

He says the only way to kill him is with a knife,

and he wanted to acquire his life.

He was no fool,

for he knew no rule.

He plunged the knife deep,

there was no need to weep.

It pierced his heart.

He knew it would hurt.
