Attendees: AQ = Annie Q. (interviewer), CP = Carrie P. (interviewee)

AQ: Can you give me a quick recap on what you remember?

CP: It's hard to recount. It all just happened out of nowhere. I remember this thing though...didn't even seem like a human. I never seen anything like it but I know it wasn't human.

AQ: And your friends? What happened to them?

CP: It just...it killed them all. To be honest, I'm not sure how I'm alive right now.

AQ: Why were you in the forest? Where were you going and why did you stop?

CP: I remember we stopped for gas near the entrance to the forest. One of my friends decided to take a leak in the nearby bushes and next thing you know, we didn't hear from him for about 30 minutes. We all decided to check it out. We checked around but we couldn't find a trace that he was even there. night started to come around and we were suggesting that we should camp out in the woods to look for him at dawn. Then, we heard a branch crack. We all turned around to face it but we didn't see anything. We went to go investigate it and then we saw this thing. I honestly don't know how to describe it but it lunged at one of my friends. Killed both my friends and I was the last one to make it out alive. I killed it...I think I killed it at least. I'm just hoping it's actually dead.

AQ: Thank you for your cooperation Ms. Prescott. We'll keep in touch if we get any further info.

Three Years Short of a Decade Ago

The birds flew away, squawking, in the distance. The sound of screeching filled the mountainous forest as Skinwalker Joe screamed in agony. He could feel the pain in his throat as the gooey egg slowly emerged from his mouth and onto the rough ground of Joe's cavernous dwelling. It lay on the floor as Joe quieted, lying next to it and closing his dark eyes. The egg was blackish with white spots on it.

Interviewee: Sydney O., 555-3445

Date: November 7, 2020

Meeting Place: Roosevelt Police Department, Room SK237

Attendees: AQ = Annie Q. (interviewer), SO = Sydney O. (interviewee)

AQ: I understand you're part of the medical team. What were some of the injuries on Carrie?

SO: When we were transporting Ms. Prescott in the ambulance, the first things we noticed were her right arm and leg, which were both bleeding from cuts that could've been mistaken for a knife, but according to her account they were from a beast, which doesn't make any sense. She was also suffering from mild hypothermia and shock. After some rest, she seemed quite a bit better, but her injuries on her arm and leg will still need some more attention. She should be out of the hospital in a few days.

AQ: So she also told you about the beast? What did she say about it?

SO: She was in hysterics when she regained consciousness. The majority of the ICU thought it was due to the anesthesia and shock. She told us about some sort of beast that could change shape and had wings. She said that it had giant claws and could pounce like a cat. It was both amusing and terrifying at the same time. I don't know what to believe; The world is so strange nowadays.
