Chapter 2- First impressions

I'm back!
Yup I'm actually updating...

It's a miracle

Anyway let's just get on with the story...

Seraphs pov

I woke up on a hard concrete floor feeling dazed as my vision starts to come back to me.

I couldn't remember shit...

Get up! My wolf yells in a panicked state.

What the hell happened?! I ask her as soon as I escaped my daze.

Then it all came back to me..
The beta..
The needle in my arm...

"SHIT!!" I immediately sit up on the hard ground.

We need to get out of here, I agree with my wolf and we try to get up

After a few tries we finally stand up

I notice metal bars, as I go to touch them I notice they are covered in Wolfsbane and pretend to wince as I feel a presence in the room and they cant figure put who I am..

"Wouldn't do that I were you" a deep voice says from my left

I turn and meet the eyes of the beta

"They're covered in Wolfsbane"

"I noticed" I said coldly

"So, what were you doing on our land?"

"I'm sure your alpha would like to be present for questioning" I replied already wanting to get out of here

He shuts up after that

About half an hour later he turns to me and says "the Alpha's coming"

My stomach turns to knots and my wolf is suddenly on alert

What's wrong? We never feel like this around any other alphas..

I dont know...

I smell the most heavenly smell ever..

I glance up as a shadow walks down the stone steps and look away and act untethered as he steps into the light

I can sense the power rolling off of him in waves but I ignore it

He growls

"What are you doing here?" He growls at me

"Well I don't really have a choice do I? I am being held captive so.."

I smirk as I can feel him getting annoyed, I'm very good at reading emotions, it's kinda my thing

"Look at me when I'm speaking rogue" he says with so much disgust but there's also a bit of curiosity and confusion in his voice..

My curiosity got the best of me and I finally look up but instantly regretted it

I look up with a cocky smirk on my face as I meet his eyes showing no signs of fear or being even slightly affected by his presence or power but my smile soon falters..

My heart stops

Darius' pov

Why are we getting worked up over some silly girl, I asked my wolf as my fists started to clench at my sides

I dont know but she's really getting on my nerves my wolf Zeus replied rather annoyed with her too

"Look at me when I'm speaking to you" I say trying to again some control on the conversation

I hear movement in front of me so I look down at her slightly shorter form

When she meets my eyes my heart stopped and the world froze..

She had these beautiful eyes like to ocean but I noticed them switching from grey to red to purple and back to their blue colour but now with a amber circle around her pupil showing she recognised it too..

"Mate" I said without thinking

Her eyes widened in shock as she looked back at my eyes

I heard her whisper "mate" too but only faintly

Enjoy this extra part that I was going  to put in the next chapter 😉

Seraph's pov

My smirk fell as the one word that I thought was impossible for me to hear came from his lips

"Mate" he says, his voice Huskies than before, I wince

"Mate" I mumble before I can help it

Crap

This can't be happening

"Mate?" The beta asks obviously surprised

The alpha doesn't look away from me
"Open the cell Elijah" he says to the beta who I now know is named Elijah

As my cell door is unlocked I look behind my "mate" and notice that they left the door to the outside open...

I brush off the thought of escaping as quick as it comes

It wouldn't work

No way

I was so deep in thoughts of escaping that I didn't even notice my mate reaching for my hand with his arm outstretched

I automatically growl as soon as I see it

He looks surprised but quickly masks it and pulls his arm back

"Sorry" I say quickly, not ready used to affection or non-hostile attitude from pure wolves

"It's fine" he says with an emotionless face but I can see a bit of hurt slip through his facade

I'm led out of the dungeon and into the pack house, I have to admit it is pretty beautiful but then again..I haven't been in a pack house since...

Stop, no I can't think about that right now

One of the first people I saw when I walked into the pack house was...

I'm just going to leave this chapter at that because I literally can't see any other way to end it and hopefully the next chapter will be posted soon.
