Gah, it feels like forever. I look over at Yugi who is sleeping peacefully. "At least I'm not alone. At least I'm with someone I love with all my heart instead of some random jerk," I murmur.
"Yes, that would be pure torture," Yugi replies, turning to me with a smirk. My cheeks go bright red.
"Y-you're awake," I demand, staring down at Yugi with pure disbelief.
"Yes, now what's for breakfast," he asks, getting up. Wow, he really does want to start over.
"Yugi, do you hate me," I ask, looking up at him. He turns and shakes his head.
"I-I never hated you Yami. I was just more... more scared. Being a prince, I always knew you could do practically whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. I tried to be your friend, but I thought you would reject me. Once you started flirting with me and teasing me, my brain started to try to run off. I guess I just was scared to trust myself," he whispers.
I smile and look down at him. "Thank you for telling me that. I thought you hated me with a passion of fury," I laugh.
