Chapter 4

Addison POV:

Great I thought. Look, Bryce. We definitely need to talk, but not out here. How about you follow me to the house. I don't want the twins to get photographed. Bryce picked up Brielle while I picked up Beckham, and we strapped them into their car seats. I began to drive to the house while Bryce followed me in behind. I got out of the car and took out the twins. "Please do mommy a favor and go to your playroom. I will get you some snacks" Bryce was standing at the door, so I invited him in.

A: Look, Bryce, my goal is not to keep your kids away from you. I want you to see them as much as you want to see them.

B: Addison, you never told them I wasn't aware of you being pregnant, or I was rude and cut off communication with you?

A: No, I didn't, Bryce, because I never want the twins to think bad about their dad. If they see something they don't like, then that's different. But, I will never be the reason your kids look at you differently.

Br: Hey Mommy, I'm sorry, but I want snacks

A: Okay, let me get the fruit. I cut

Addison gave the fruit to Brielle and told her to share it with her brother.

B: So Brielle and Beckham. B names, in honor of me, I'm guessing

A: Definitely, I remember you saying that if we ever had kids, you would love them to have one of our initials. But, I didn't find any that I loved until I came across Brielle and Beckham.

B: And what about their middle names?

A: Brielle Amora Hall, and Beckham Amos Hall

B: The names are beautiful, Addison; you've done an amazing job raising them, honestly. I definitely got your personality.

A: Oh, don't let them full you. They are definitely mini party animals, especially when the candy hits.

B: So, you and Tayler, huh?

A: Tayler and I aren't together, truthfully. Yes, we've flirted and shared a couple of kisses. But nothing more. He brought me comfort with everything that had happened. The deal was he would stay with me until the twins were one so that I could have the first year down. But, he decided to stay, but I'm pretty sure he'll be moving soon.

B: What just happened?

A: He asked me about you last night, after dinner. He asked if I still loved you. Or if I had feelings for him,

B: And what did you say?

A: I told him that I didn't have feelings for him. Yes, I still love you, but my feelings never left after the way things went. I want you to know I don't expect anything from you. The least you can do is visit the kids, spend time with them. I can even take them to your house, or you can come here, and I'll leave. The point is to be here for the twins.

B: And what happens if I want to see Brielle and Beckham mom too?

A: Well, let me tell you right now. You'll have to work hard to see their mom.

Bryce then got up I got to go, Addison, I have. Addison stopped him; you don't need to explain anything to me. Perks of being the mother of your children, I won't ask you where you are or who you're with. Bryce went to say Bye to the twins.

Beckham: "Mommy, can daddy please spend the night tonight, and we have a family night."

A: Baby, daddy has some things he has to do. Maybe next time

B: How about I cut my plans short, and I come back in about two hours. I'll spend the night we can get snacks, and watch movies. Then I'll put both of you two to bed.

Beckham & Brielle: Yay

The twins then ran back to the playroom.

A: Thanks Bryce, you know you didn't have to do that.

B: I did Adds. If the kids want me there, I'm there; I've missed too much of their life already. I don't want to miss anything anymore. So I'll see you tonight. Maybe Mommy and Daddy can have some time together too.

A: Keep dreaming, lover boy.

Addison POV:

As Bryce left, I took this opportunity to clean up. Ugh, so much had happened in the past twenty-four hours, and I was exhausted. After cleaning up, I decided to make dinner, the kid's favorite Pasta, parmesan chick, and breadsticks. After cleaning, I grabbed the twins and took them to my room so that we could nap.

Bryce POV:

I had left Addison's house. I had to meet up with Josh. It had been a meeting for the ani energy drink. Seeing Addison and hearing how she still loves me made me feel something in my heart. But, I know if I wanted Addison back, I would need to fight for her, and she would definitely play the hardest game of her life. I drove to sway and then walked into our meeting room.

Jo: Look who is early for the first time. What do you say some drinks after the meeting?

B: I can't. I met up with Addison today, after that crazy conversation I told you about last night. Well, anyway, she brought the twins, and I got to meet them. They are perfect, Josh. Anyway, while I was leaving, the twins asked me to stay the night. I looked at Addison, and she was fine with it. So that's the plan now.

Jo: So, what are you going to tell Tessa? I mean, I know you've been trying to end things with her, but when she hears you are staying at Addison, she will lose it. Everyone knows you are still in love with Addison.

B: Ya, I am, but today I found out she still loves me as well...

Jo: Woah Buddy, what a plot twist.

The meeting had now begun. Ani energy would be launching very soon, and Josh and Bryce couldn't be happier with their future. Bryce walked into his room and began to pack a bag to stay at Addison's for the night.

T: Hey baby

B: Tessa, what are you doing here?

T: I thought maybe we should have a sleepover.

B: Look, Tessa, I have many things going on in my life right now. And I need to make sure I give all my attention to the events that need me.

T: This is about your kids, huh?

B: You know about them?

T: Come on Bryce, the whole world knows about them. Especially after hearing their names on Dixie's talk show. I even bet they look like the perfect mixture of you and Addison. My point is I know you and Addison have unfinished business. And now you have to figure out that unfinished business while co-parenting. If it doesn't work out, you know where to find me.

I grabbed my bag and went outside to get in the car, and drove to Addison's. Addison had told me the code to get into the house. But, when I walked in, it was completely silent. I walked around the house until I found Addison room. I opened the door to find all three of them sleep. This was supposed to be the life I was supposed to have. This is the life I will have.
