Champ and Major

After having a hard time sleeping you wake up to 20 messages from Joe. Each one of them breaking your heart a little. Especially the last one. "I'm sorry for whatever I did, but just know that I still love you." He loves me? He has a wife and he loves ME? How will this affect him as future president? there are so many thoughts going through your head you decide to get fresh air and go for a run.

You've been running around your block for the past 30 mins and decide to walk to the local coffee shop. You walk in and order your favorite drink. You sit down on a bench outside and watch everyone walk past as you take a sip of your drink. You look up to see a cute little German Shepard running to you. " Hey buddy, where did you come from?" you say. He's so excited to see you like your his owner. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a man jogging over to you. " I'm so sorry, I was just-" It's Joe, you don't know what to do. Should you smile? Should you be mad? No matter how mad you are at him you can't help but smile because he looks so cute. "Hey Joe." you say. He almost looks confused. " Um hey Y/N." he says. You see his wife coming up behind him "Whos this?" she asks  " Oh um-" " I'm a really big fan." you cut him off. " Oh ok well we need to get going, right Joe?" " Oh uh yeah nice meeting you Y/N." "You too." you say. You see him walk away with Jill and champ

What is happening? Are you falling for him again? You need to figure this out so you pull out your phone to text him.

"What is happening with us? What am I to you?" While you wait for him to respond, you text your best friend. "I think I'm falling for him again." Before you hit send, you see that your texting Joe. Holy shit. You quickly erase it and send the message to your best friend. That would have been horrible. If I did send it would he say it back? Before you worry too much you check your phone to see if Joe texted back. All you see is the horrifying word, read. Ouch. You begin to see the three dots appear and disappear. ( it would have been so much easier if I just said jill was dead)

It's been 30 mins and still no response from both of them. It makes sense that your bestie wouldn't respond because she's at a party right now, but why didn't Joe respond? So many thoughts race your mind, But one stands out. Where was Major? Did he die? Surely not, right? You decide to walk back home and get something to eat. You get up from the bench and see Joe running over to you again. "What happened?" you said worried. He just hugs you, each second, he hugs you tighter and tighter. "I'm sorry." he says.  You can tell by the tone of his voice that he was about to cry. You don't know what to do but just hug him back. " I'll kill her, I'll do whatever to be with you." he says. ( maybe ill make someone kill her idk) All of a sudden you start to cry "Its ok Joe, we will get through this, ok?" You feel his head nod on your shoulder. You both back up. "Just let me know if you see major ok? He went missing with champ and I can't find him." he says. "I will". you say with a smile. He smiles at you as he turns to leave. You see him walk away when he stops out of nowhere. He turns back around. " I love you." he says. " love you too." you say. You can tell you both have the urge to kiss, but you're out in public and don't want to risk the chance of anyone seeing. You both wave goodbye and head your separate ways

You get a text from your best friend. You wipe your tears and pull out your phone. " YOU LIKE HIM AGAIN?" How am I gonna explain the feeling I just had? " Im coming to your house, be there in 20 mins. ill explain everything." 

On your way home, you keep thinking of him. Was he actually gonna kill her? No that's crazy, right? You decide to facetime your bestie cause you can't wait. You start talking about love and such. You look up from your phone and see an angry Karen coming at you. Oh, my bad it was just Jill. " How dare you steal my husband!" she tries to slap you but you easily move out of the way. "Um, excuse you?" you say trying not to smile. You were about to beat this bitch up. "You know what you did!" she said. " I don't really know what you're talking about miss." She once again tried to slap you putting more effort in this time. But of course she missed.  You knew if you punched her you would go to jail so you used your words instead ;) "Woah settle down, If you keep trying,  you'll break your back. " Her face just fumes with anger. " Fine, I'm sooo sorry. I'll try my best to hide it better next time." you smile, " My apologies for not telling you."  You look down at your phone to see your bestie in total shock.  You just walk away and continue to talk to your bestie

 " DUDEEEEE THAT WAS EPIC!" you laugh " I didn't want to be too mean." You keep talking for a few minutes and gasp. "Hold on I gotta go." You look over to see major just laying on the sidewalk. You run over to him. " Hey buddy, how are you?" you keep petting him while you pull out your phone. " I found your dog,  do you want me to walk him over to you?" you wait a few minutes for him to respond. " You can just take him to your house for now. I'm having a fight with jill so it will be a few minutes." For some reason, you start to feel bad. Was this a bad idea falling in love with him? You should've known he had a wife, right?

You took major to your house and rewatched the debate. " You see that orange right there? We hate him." he barks. " HAHAHAHA YESSSSS WE HATE THAT ORANGE BASTARD!" He barks even more. Omg I just trained this dog to hate trump, I love it. You decide to go get a snack for you and the dog to share 

When you get to the kitchen, you hear a knock at the door. You open it to see your bestie in a bathing suit. " We're going swimming!" " Um what?" you say. " We're going to the beach to get over that loser!" her eyes widen as she sees the dog. " I found his dog and I'm waiting for him to pick it up." "WAIT." Oh no, this is just gonna be one of her stupid ideas. " We can trick him into going to the beach to pick him up and he'll see you coming out of the water like Baywatch! Then he'll realize how beautiful you are and dump that bitch and  then he'll fall in love with you!!" "Ok, um, wow, holy shit." Why is she my best friend? Why did I have to pick THIS one? " Good plan right?" she says. " Um sure." you say. " YAYYYYYYY!" she rushes past you to your closet.  She hands you an outfit, " get dressed." 

You get dressed and head to the beach. You pull out your phone to text Joe. " Hey, so I'm heading to the beach, so you'll have to pick up major there. Sorry, it wasn't my plan but she dragged me out of the house." you wait a few minutes for him to respond. " Yeah that's fine, its better for me cause it's closer to my house. See you in a few minutes."
