I just got out of science! Thank god, I hate that class! But I guess it's better than going to the hallway. I'm not afraid of Eli but he gets very annoying. Every day it's the same thing.... Like he's on a schedule. It's glare, trip me,laugh. Over and over again. I'm fed up with it. The next time he does it I swear I'm gonna-

. "Hey Melissa" I looked up and saw Eli.

. "Yes, Eli?" I said VERY sarcastically.

. "Will you go to the valentines dance with me this Thursday?"

. What? Omg! Fireworks started exploding in my head. Not the good ones, but the ones that you get when you want to yell at someone so much you have to bite you lip to keep from doing so. First he acted so obnoxious, then he's asking me to go to the dance? Talk about bipolar!

. "What? No!" I said.

. "Why, come on! Please?"

. He said please.... Ok this has to be a trick.

"I said no and I ment it. I wouldn't go anywhere with you Eli. Not on my dead body!" By now I was fully aware of all the stares. There was practically a whole circle around us.

. He glared at me. I swear those eyes looked dead. As if all the light had been drained from them.

. "Are you telling me no?"

. "Yes, that's exactly what I'm telling you."

. He leaned down real close and whispered in my ear,"You'd had better watch you back Melissa. I don't like being told no."

I looked him in the eye and said, "oh, are you gonna go home and eat your feelings? Oh to late, looks like you already did."

. I walked off. I was about to walk out the door when I saw this guy. I know I had seen him before, but I never talked to him. I was a little surprised when he came up to me and started talking.

. "Hey, what you did back there was pretty cool..."

. "Thanks I'm Melissa by the way."

. " cool, I'm Jake."

. "Alright well I guess I'll be seeing you around... Jake."

. "alright, bye."

. "Bye."

. As I walked out the doors the only thing going though my head was, damn he was hot.
