I woke up when I heard foot steps. My heart started racing. Oh god no he's back! I scrambled back just as the door started to open. I had to turn my head as he asked in. I refused to let him see my face.
. "Good morning Melissa.... How'd you sleep?"
What? It's been a day? How long have I been out of it?
.
"I asked you a question Melissa."
Was he crazy? I wasn't going to answer his question! I turned my head, but this just seemed to make him angrier. He reached down and grabbed my arm and pulled me up.
"Your crazy! Let me go!"
. "You bitch!" He smacked my cheek so hard I fell.
.
"Now I asked you a question. How did you sleep?"
. "Fine.." I could barely let out a whisper. My lips started to tremble and I started to cry.
"Good."
. "I want to leave!"
"Not until you've learned your lesson. And your never gonna learn anything if you keep yelling. But don't worry. I have a feeling your gonna learn real quick.." He started to turn around and walk up the steps. He opened the door. My heart started racing, I can't stay here! I have friends and family and people who care about me!
. "You can't just leave me here!"
. "I can and I will.."
. "You'll never get away with this! People will look for me! And when they find me-"
. "When they find you your body will be cut up into little pieces if you keep acting like you are!"
This stunned me. I did not say anything ad he closed lo the door, because I had nothing TO say. But I realized as he closed the door I could hear the sound of people taking and waking. Was I close to people? Perhaps there is hope. And maybe, just maybe, I could leave. No! Not maybe! I WILL leave this place! He will never get away with this! That is when I looked around for anything to help me get out. That is when I discovered hope.
