Lee Sung-yeol (이성열, born August 27, 1991, in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea) is a South Korean idol, dancer, and actor.[1][2][3][4][5][6] He is a member of boy group Infinite under Woollim Entertainment and leader of the sub-unit Infinite F.

Lee Sungyeol was born and raised in , on August 27, 1991. Sungyeol graduated from Daekyung University, majoring in Applied Music with fellow members , , and . He has a younger brother named Lee Dae-Yeol.

Career[]2010–13: Debut with Infinite and Acting roles[]Main article:

Sungyeol made his debut as a member of in 2010. Sungyeol was first introduced as a vocalist of boy band . The group official debuted in June 10, 2010.Sungyeol made his debut as an actor in 2012 with the drama .

On October 21, 2013, Sung-yeol and were cast as main characters, shy boy Gi-yeok and popular girl Min-ah respectively in the web drama Please Remember, Princess.

2014–present: Infinite F's debut and Acting roles[]Main article:

In 2014, He was cast in the drama alongside fellow Infinite member and rising child actress . The 20 episode drama aired once a week on Fridays at 20:55KST from July 11 to December 19, 2014.Sungyeol fellow with L and Sungjong was release soundtrack for the drama titled "My Heart is Beating".

Sungyeol fellow Infinite member L and Sungjong was formed a subgroup called Infinite F and was official announced during One Great Step Returns encore concert. They also performed their song "My Heart is Beating" from Hi! School-Love On soundtrack They made the first official release song titled "Going Crazy" was included on Infinite's 2nd album "Season 2". They made official debuted in Japan with released debut single album "Koi No Sign" on November 19, 2014, following in Korea with released debut single album, "Azure" on December 2, 2014.

In May 2015, he was confirmed in the cast of the series D-Day.
