10 - Again I was high on this drug

I was driving towards Zenith cause Manik and I had a meeting fixed with Michaelson's. Since I have checked every single paper and I am certainly sure that land belongs to Manik. So I really Want to know what tricks the other party have up their sleeves that they have filed this case. My days were being so hectic from past week since the proposal. Now the wedding was in coming three weeks and I have no idea how we are going to prepare.

I am the Maid of honor and I have so many duties. How am I going to manage both work and this wedding hand to hand when Belle is so darn busy with her hospital. Manik has taken full responsibility for the wedding. And he was gladly working on it with Caleb on his side. Yepp Caleb is on long break as he is looking for some motivation to write his new book. Well that's what he told us while I am pretty sure he just want to hunt new girls down.

I reached the parking lot and after checking my reflection one last time in the rear view. I came out and after locking the car made my way inside the building. Manik really has gone way too extra on the interiors of this building. Everytime I come here it seems difficult to take my eyes off. "Hello, I am Ms. Moorthy from law tigers. I have a meeting fixed with Mr. Malhotra." I politely smiled at the receptionist and she returned one to too me. "Yess, Mam please make your way towards the meeting room. You want me to guide you?"

"No thanx I will manage." I went to the same room I have been before. Yeah the meeting room. I walked inside to see Cole Michaelson and his Dad with two more people were already seated there. Cole looked at me and winked and my eyes immediately turn up in disgust. Oh!! How I wish I could kill this guy with my bare hands. "Hello Mr. Michaelson.." I greeted Cole's dad ignoring the smug smile of his Son. I took the seat right across to him and settled down. "Hello MS. Moorthy so you are their attorney hann.." He said in a cold voice and I just nodded meekly. I don't know it's just me or what but I don't get the good vibes coming out from this person.

"Good morning everyone and sorry for keeping you all waiting.." Manik entered inside with his secretary behind and I thank Aiyappa for saving me from this awkward moment. Manik sat down beside me and gave his million dollar smile melting my insides. Why didn't this Men left me angry on him.         "I guess let's just start. So Ms. Moorthy will be taking care of this case from my end." Manik introduced and one of the Men from their end took his hand out for me, "I am Austin Brown, their attorney.." I shook his hand politely.

Cole - Can you guys tell us why we are meeting today? I really have other things to do.

Yeah like getting a blow Job with the random girls. I muttered under my breath but Manik heard it , a loud snort coming from his confirmed that.

Nanz - I have read each and every paper related to this case and I am sure this land belongs to Malhotra's cause I have legal papers. Then what made you file a case against them?

Sr. Michaelson - I am impressed for someone your age and less experience you sure are quite a Good lawyer. But you should know that we wouldn't be stupid enough to file this case without any valid proof. This land is ours and we will prove that in court.

I grit my teeth in anger so they are not going to blurt anything out. Crazy hoboes. Ughhh!!!! Fine do it your way then. "You can always join me in my bedroom tonight and maybe I would slip out some generous information.." Cole winked at me and I have to control the urge of kicking him in the nuts. "Well I would really not appreciate of you flirting with my attorney in my office. The meeting is over thank you for coming you gyz May leave.." Manik said while exaggerating My in his sentence and I had the urge to smirk at Cole but I controlled.

Soon enough everyone left the room even Manik's secretary. Manik asked him to close the door while leaving. This room was full of glass but you cannot exactly see other side though them. Yes the people outside This room cannot see us and we cannot see outside. I was looking at him questioningly that why I am still here. "How's the wedding preparation going?" He asked putting his head on head rest and pressing it to I guess ease the pain. He seemed worn off.. "yeah pretty much good but it's too hectic.." I again looked at him uneasy I so want to ease his pain. "I am going to finalize the venue and food. Come with me.." it wasn't a question, a statement indeed. And don't know why I didn't contradict.

He still has his eyes close and I groaned inside my head for what I was about to do. I placed my hand on his forehead and he froze. His hand came down on his side and I started pressing mine to ease down his pain. "Do you want me to grab you a painkiller.." I asked pressing his head lightly and he just relaxed under my touch "No.." He got comfortable on his chair and I was giving him a Light massage now. Talk about staying away from him. I was leaning so much towards him that I accidentally tripped and landed directly into his lap making him jump.

His eyes shoot open and I feel the red tainting my cheeks due to my embarrassment. Talk about being subtle. "I... uh.. you.." I don't know why the hell I am stuttering but here I am sitting on his lap his blue eyes boring into mine  what else do you expect. He just make me lose my sanity. We haven't really talked about the kiss that happened in my kitchen. Hell we have behaved so normally that I doubted that moment actually happened or was I just dreaming? I was holding his shoulders tight when his thumb grazed my lips. I shivered slightly on his touch. Damn I feel wet already.

I bite my lip and he groaned, I could feel him getting hard under me and blush rose up my cheeks. "Don't do that Nandani.." I looked innocently at him and don't know what came over me that again I bite my lips this time a bit more sensually. His hold on me got tighter and his eyes got darken turning me on. "I am warning you, don't.." He said in a threatening tone making me more excited, I again tried to chew my lips but he stopped me this time with his lips landing directly onto mine. We were so involved in doing our little activity that we ignored the phone which was ringing for sometime now. But I guess the caller was Quite persistent so at last reluctantly I have to stop Manik and received the call.. "Hello.." I sounded breathless, I looked at him and he looked disheveled. His hair were all messy cause of my hands. His lips were bit swollen and my lipstick was smashed on his face..

Caroline - where the Hell are you Nanz?

Nanz - I am at Zenith, I had a meeting you forget?

Caroline - still going on? I needed you here

Nanz - nop just finished I will be there in some time.

I could see Manik pouting but I can't stay here getting dirty with him in his office. Oh!! Aiyappa anyone could have walked in on us. What were we even thinking on the first place. I immediately got up from the table and buttoned my shirt. Without throwing another glance at Manik, I rushed towerds the washroom. After fixing myself up I came out to see Manik standing in his old position with a grumpy face. I so want to pull his cheeks down. "I have to go, Caroline needs me in office. I will see you tomorrow then, pick me up.." He Nodded his head reluctantly and I move towards the door, "first clean yourself up before leaving this room.." with that I left him alone in the room smirking.
