2. I haven't change a bit, Bite me!!

I look at Caroline and started moving, when one of the seated man said in a loud voice, "Sir they are here.." He put the Cigerrate back in the ashtray which was their on the window sealing and Took out a bottle of something from his pocket I guess. He popped a mint in his mouth and turned around taking my breath away. It feels like I stopped breathing for a second.

We whispered at the same time but I don't think anybody else heard cause there were no strange expressions on their face. 7 years, I was seeing him after whole 7 years. After 7 years I was listening to that stupid nickname name. It sounds foreign to my ears. Clad in a grey business suit with a slight stubble on his face He look more mature, more handsome than before.

What a stupid thought of course he has grown up just like you. I don't know how long we kept staring in each others eyes, his eyes shows longing, remorse and a slight bit of twinkle by seeing me there or I am just assuming. Our Trance broke when Caroline cleared her throat embarrassing me that I have been caught staring. 

"Hello there, I am Caroline Forbes from Law tigers" She stretched her hand and he shook it with a slight smile, Caroline has a dreamy look on her face and I just felt uneasy. "Hello Caroline, I am Manik Malhotra thank you for coming on such a short notice. Please have a seat.." Caroline nudged me and I reluctantly forward my hand, "I am Nanz.." He took it with a smile, a smile that didn't reach his eyes. 

I felt a tingling sensation in my body when his hand touched mine. A touched that I have craved for so long, a touch that disgust me. I pulled my hand away with an extra force making him shock and hurt but he was quick in masking his expressions. I took a seat and he sat exactly opposite to mine making me again uncomfortable. I just want to get the hell out of here.

Caroline - So Mr. Malhotra you are new in this town right?

Caroline's question caught me off guard, I looked at him and he was already looking at me with a distant look. "No Ms. Forbes, this town is not new to me infact this town and the people in here are very close to my heart.." I felt like gagging at his answer. Such a filthy lier he is. Oh Aiyappa get me the hell out of here pretty quick please.

Manik - Well I have called you people here, cause I have heard a lot about you girls and I believe you will be a great help.

Caroline - Of course we will right Nanz?

She look at me and I gave her a small smile, I was totally avoiding looking at that Jerk. Well my nickname for him totally suit him now, he really is a Jerk.

Manik - So you gyz know Michaelson's? 

Caroline - Yes we do

"Okay so the thing is My Father purchased this land from them few years back when they moved from here. But now when I have already build my company they have filed a fault case on us accusing that the land belongs to them." He explained. I never knew Michaelson's were such greedy people. I don't know much about the family but I know their son Cole. He is such a flirt and is quite famous among the girls since he have returned.

Manik - See this company is very dear to me as I have build this up on my own in my favorite town and with all the legal procedures. So I can't let some greedy bastard snatch it away.

I cringed on the swear word and he smirked I guess after realizing that I still hate swearing. Yeah I haven't changed a bit Malhotra, bite me!! I rolled my eyes and he composed himself. "So I want you gyz to handle this thing for me, My team will provide you all the necessary documents you need also all the help you want from us we will provide. I just want to win this legal battle. And if you are successful in this, I will make sure that all the legal issues of Malhotra's are handle by you."

Caroline's eyes lit up on hearing that, she wanted exactly the same but not me. I guess this is professional and I shouldn't let my personal grudges spoiling my professional life. Especially when I am not alone in this. I will give this case to Caroline, anyways she looked a way lot more keen to work with him. Uhuun I am not jealous at all, just stating. "Sure Mr. Malhotra don't worry at all. We will not disappoint you in this. I assure you nobody can harm your darling company.." 

Darling my foot. Ughhh when the hell is this going to end, I am fed up of seeing that jerk's face. Just show me the way out quickly. "Well thank you then Ms. Forbes and Ms. Nanz, I will take your leave now and I look forward to work with you, see you soon.." He gave his famous smirk making my blood boil, is seems like he is trying to tease me. But Nanz, you have too keep your calm, you have to avoid him at any cost, he drives me crazy so for my own piece of mind I will have to stay as far away as possible.

The moment he left the room, I stood up without waiting any more. "Where are you going, we still have to discuss about the documents with his team." Caroline looked questioningly at me and I just shuffled from one feet to another. "Well I have another meeting scheduled and I am getting late, so you carry on Car and I will see you at office. Bye.."

Without hearing anything from her, I just ran away and stopped once I reached the parking lot and finally I could breath again. He was back, Manik Malhotra was back in my life again. And this time I have no idea how much damage he was going to do. But This time I have to protect myself. I can't let him make me suffer again. I can't, Nandani Moorthy is not that weak Malhotra so you better mind your own Business before I castrate you. You better stay away.
