"Thank you for listening" Kou finished sharing about his problems and Amane smiled at him.

"You're hurting so much yet you force a smile to hide the pain, am I right kid?" Amane asked and he nodded.

"That sometimes you hate yourself for being too sensitive" Yashiro said and Kou's heart clenched because he could relate what his senpai said.

"Then, you blink your eyes so many times to make the tears disappear" Amane finished the sentence and everyone could relate to what Yashiro and Amane said.

"You don't need their validations kid.
Continue doing your best because people like them don't know the word 'effort' existed. Just keep running and rest when you're tired, just don't give up. And maybe someday, you'd stop in your tracks and look back how far you've gone." Amane encouraged him and that made Kou's self-esteem increased.

"We're proud of you, Kou. Look at how far you've reached despite hearing those harsh words come out of their mouths." Aoi said.

"Grades doesn't define your intelligence, Kou-kun so stop comparing yourself to others. You need to value yourself more" Yashiro said and he almost teared up at that.

"You're way smarter than you think. Do your best so you can prove them wrong, okay?" Mitsuba said and he smiled at him.

"Thank you, guys. You really helped me a lot" he smiled widely.

"We should hang out more often other than meeting here in the club." Amane suggested and they all agreed.

"Let's go to my house! We'll be having a group study there~" Aoi suggested happily and they all nodded in agreement.

"So, y varies directly as x, am I right Amane?" Kou asked and he nodded.

"So that's how you solve it" Yashiro finally understood. In class, when their sensei ask 'Do you understand?' or 'Any question?', she'd be too shy to raise her hand and ask. That's why she remains quiet and pretends that she understood.

"Thank you, Aoi-chan" she thanked her and Aoi smiled in return.

"That's enough studying for today" Aoi announced and they cheered.

"Here" Aoi handed them snacks which they instantly took and thanked her afterwards.

"Why is math so hard?" Mitsuba complained while eating his flan.

"I'm losing brain cells because of Math" Yashiro whined.

"I don't have any brain cells left" Kou added and they explode laughing at him.

"We had fun today, aoi-chan. Goodbye!" Yashiro waved goodbye to her best friend.

"We learned a lot from you. Bye!" mitsuba yelled and scurried on his way back home.

"Bye, Amane! Bye, Kou-kun!" She bid farewell to them as well and went off to different directions.

"Sakura, Shijima look" Sumire pointed at Yashiro and Amane. From the past few days, they couldn't bully her because he was always protecting her. They could only stare at the duo for now.

"She thinks she can escape us" Shijima smirked.

"Let's just wait for the right moment" Sakura said and they all agreed. Laughing evilly at they stared intently at the clueless daikon.
