"Hey, Teru-nii! Wanna go to the theatres tomorrow?" He asked his older brother with hopeful eyes.

"I'll pass, Kou. I'm sorry" he said guiltily then his mom came in with hands full of snacks.

"Why can't you be like your brother?" His mom asked and he groaned.

"Mom-" he got cut off by his dad's booming voice.

"Instead of wasting your time, how about you go study to your room and ace all your exams." He felt pain inside and just wanted to cry right there but held it back.

"Fine" he said defeatedly and went upstairs. He opened his window and was instantly greeted by the cold wind.

"I'm trying my best to make them proud but it seems that they don't know how to appreciate my efforts." He mumbled to himself and exhaled deeply.

"I'm also their son but why can't they also be proud of me?" He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth as tears flowed out of his ocean coloured eyes. He wiped his tears hurriedly as he heard footsteps nearing his room.

"Are you alright, Kou?" His older brother peeked at the door with a worried face. He acted as if he was confused and laughed afterwards.

"Of course I am Teru-nii... Why wouldn't I be?" He said and smiled warmly at his brother which he gladly returned.

"Okay, I'm gonna head to bed now. Good night Kou" he said and closed the door.

"Good night Teru-nii" he mumbled to himself and went to bed.

Kou climbed out of his window to take a short walk as the sky slowly lit up with different shades of colours. He wore his favourite hoodie and began strolling along the park.

"Kou-kun!" He jolted and swiftly looked back to see his beloved senpai.

"Senpai, what are you doing here?" He asked surprised and she giggled.

"I usually take a walk here" she replied.

"How about you, Kou-kun? You had a depressing look earlier." She asked and he started fidgeting with his hands. She noticed this and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Kou-kun. I won't push you to say it. I understand that you're not ready but I hope you know I'm always here for you" she smiled adorably.

"Thank you, Senpai" he hugged her which took her by surprise but hugged her afterwards.

"Wear this senpai. You've been shaking since earlier from the cold wind" he took off his hoodie and gave it to her.

"It's okay, Kou-kun" she waved her hand frantically but he had a determined look so she gave up and wore it. He heated up because she looks so adorable with his hoodie.

"I'm drowning" she giggled. His hoodie was too big for her but she looked adorable nonetheless.

"What about you, Kou-kun? Won't you get cold?" She asked worriedly.

"Don't worry about me, senpai. I'm gonna head back now. Bye!" He bid farewell and jogged back to his house.

"He smells nice" she said as she continued sniffing at his hoodie. She walked to a nearby cafe and ordered a strawberry-filled rice cake.

"Yashiro?" She turned to the direction where the voice came from and saw Amane.

"Good morning, Amane" she greeted him as he sat in front of her. He began eating his plain donut which he already ordered earlier and stared at her.

"Good morning, Yashiro" he stared at her intently as if he was examining her.

"That hoodie doesn't belong to you, am I right?" He asked curiously.

"No, it belongs to Kou-kun" she replied and he choked on his donut.

"Eh?" He eyed her and she shifted awkwardly.

"We met earlier while I was taking a walk in the park" she explained and he huffed. He admitted that she looked cute but it bothered him that she was wearing someone else's clothes.

"You seem bothered, Amane" she said.

"Let me walk you home, Yashiro" he dodged her statement and stood up waiting for her.

"You don't need to" she refused kindly.

"Please" he made puppy eyes. She sighed defeated by and nodded. As they continued walking to her house he couldn't help but stole glances. She was very captivating in his eyes and he also took an ought to himself to protect her at all cost.

"Thank you, Amane." She thanked him and he smiled in return. But he was deeply bothered by her expression when she stepped foot inside their gate then he recalled what she said to him.

"I'll get you out of this hell hole soon, Yashiro" he smirked at his plan and walked away.
