Chapter 11

Later that night, Minah have volunteered to sleep over with Kyunghee but she said that she wouldn't have to do it. She knew that Minah is so tired of assisting her all day because of the upcoming pageant that's happening tomorrow.

Kyunghee wanted her bestfriend to sleep tight tonight because she knew she will be tired of cheering her tomorrow. 

She was sitting her couch, hugging her knees while sobbing for the nth time of the day. Since that time Luhan walked away from her, she can't stop herself from crying. Why is she crying? She doesn't know either.

Her sobs filled the air, filled the whole dark room. She didn't dare to stop herself from crying because Minah told her it would be better if she let all of her feelings out.

He was outside her apartment, thinking if he should knock or not, of he should say sorry or not, if he should explain or not?

He keeps on biting his fingers as a habit when he's thinking too much or panicking. He can't decide, he doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know how to explain everything to her.

"Girl, what did you do to Kyunghee? You made the little girl cry" Tao asked while driving. After catching up with Luhan, Tao didn't dare to speak but to just let Luhan walk. Luhan went straight to their car and waited Tao to open his door without complaining that he acts so slow, he just waited. Luhan wasn't talking the whole time, he was just staring at the window.

"Seriously? Are you mad at me too? You know, you just turned into an ahjumma" Tao rolled his eyes, "How can I help you if you're not going to talk with me?"

Luhan sighed and looked at Tao's direction, "I'm not  in the mood to talk to you now"

"Well" Tao smirked, "If you say so but let me remind you that Kyunghee is a good girl and a girl like her shouldn't be treating like that you know? She's just a highschool girl who only wants someone to be with her. A highschool girl longing for love. A highschool girl who treats her oppa well but her oppa just shouted at her and walked out. "

"why are you teliing me this?"

"Because it's all true. " Tao smiled, "Kyunghee is longing for an oppa's love. I think what you did to her really shocked her, you know? She cried, do you even know about that, huh?"

"She did?.." he asked.

Tao nodded. Luhan sighed and closed his eyes, *what did I just do? I made her cry...* Luhan covered his face with his two palms. Tao took a glance of his friend, *hmm, is he problematic that he made her cry? *

The night continued as two confuse people shred tears for unknown reason behind. Luhan went back to his car while tears rolled down to his pale cheeks. He doesn't know what to feel, he's confuse if he cares or not? He doesn't even know if he's sorry for raising his voice to her, he doesn't know?
Why is he acting this way? Why is his tears full of anger? Is it still the anger he has for Sehun for betraying him or Anger for Sehun that she makes this girl suffer for his longing love?

The night of the pageant came. Everyone was so excited to see what will be their representative's looks after all the hard work practicing. Before the pageant begins, Minah was outside Kyunghee's room. She was talking to Tao over the phone once again, yelling at him to bring Luhan with him because the pageant will begin any moment now.

"But Luhan is ignoring me! He locked himself inside his room! " Tao explained.

Minah groaned, "What the heck? Doesn't he know that Kyunghee is waiting for her?! Do something Tao! Use your wushu skills to open his door!"

"Should I really do that? I mean-"

"YES!"

Tao covered his ear, "Okay okay! I'll bring him their in a minute!"

"Be sure! "  Minah huffed then hang up. She tucked her phone back to her pocket and entered the room where the participants, including Kyunghee, stays.

Meanwhile, Tao had found the keys in Luhan's room with the help of Chen who just got home from his work. "Why are you so in an urgent? " Chen tiredly asked. Tao looked at Chen in disgust and said "Girl, Luhan needs to attend a pageant. A participant needs him there"

"Luhan? But.. "

"But what?" Tao raised a brow.

"I saw Luhan awhile ago..?" Chen said. Tao stopped from what he was doing in Luhan's room and looked at Chen with a are-you-sure look. "I saw him came out from the window maybe 5 minutes ago? I asked him where he will go and he said he'll go to the parlor. Girl, is there something wrong? Why does he need to use to the window to get out of the house? Are you two in a fight? Are we okay? Is our friendship going to be blasting soon? " Chen asked and Tao just rolled his eyes, *Parlor?! What the heck is he going to the-* Then suddenly something strikes him, *OMG THE PERSON HE HIRED AS KYUNGHEE'S MAKE UP AND HAIR STYLIST!* Tao gasped in horror "Forget it, I'm going to follow that gay!" Tao threw Chen the keys and quickly run away. Chen looked at him is a questioning look. "eh?"

"LUHAN!!!" Tao yelled as he opened the door of the parlor. Everyone's attention went towards him. One gay hairstylist approached him and asked, "What's with Luhan Tao? He's not here, he just left minutes ago"

"WHAT?! Where's your make up artist and Stylist?!" He asked in horror,

"Oh! They went to the Pageant that Luhan told them" one stylist said. 

"WHAT?!" Tao hurriedly went out of the parlor and took the bus to go straight to Kyunghee and Minah.

"AH eh! " Minah chuckled as she pushed the stylist and the make up artist's hands away from Kyunghee, "I think my bestfriend can handle everything without your help" she faked a smile.

"Luhan paid us a high amount of money to make your bestfriend pretty tonight, " The hairstylist raised a brow at Minah, "We wont let him down." The make up artist added. *Well, you won't luhan down but you'll make my bestfriend DOWN AS IN SHE'LL NEVER WIN THE CONTEST BECAUSE OF YOU GUYS IF EVER!* Minah thought. She really wanted to call Tao and seek for help but she has no one to look after Kyunghee, what if they'll make her bestfriend BALD LIKE WHAT THEY DID TO LUHAN BEFORE?!

The two continued to argue with Minah, the pageant will begin in less than hour yet Kyunghee's not yet ready. Minah swore that if she sees Luhan, she'll smack him in the face.

"Minah, just let them, I trust those people that Luhan trust and besides, Luhan really told me he wanted me to look beautiful tonight. Just let them" Kyunghee smiled. Minah could still see the sadness in her bestfriend's eyes whenever Luhan's name pops out of her lips.

Minah sighed and looked at the two ugly aliens in front of her before deeply sigh.

"Yah!"

The four of them turned their heads towards the direction of the door. In their surprise it was Luhan, panting really hard. He went towards them and said "You two, the parlor needs you. "

"What do you mean?" The two said.

"The parlor is packed with ladies,  I think your friends needs your help so badly"

"But how about her? The make up artist asked, "You paid us a very high amount of money and-"

Luhan hissed, "Forget about it. Now shoo, I'll take care of this" he said as he pushed the two away from them. Happily, the two left with a big question mark written on their eyes. Why is Luhan shooing them away?

Luhan turned to Kyunghee and gave her a little smile. Kyunghee turned her head away from Luhan. She thought that Luhan might still be mad at her. Maybe?

Luhan sighed *Is she mad?* he thought. Minah tapped Luhan's shoulder and whispered "We only have half an hour left.. can you help us?". Luhan smiled and nodded.
