Cody sat by me after taking his shirt off to dry. He grabbed my shirt and help me pull it off. I laid down and fell asleep.
Cody's POV
She was sound asleep when I heard yelling in the distance. All I wanted to do was get her somewhere safe and yet I didn't want to lose my sister. My sister was everything to me but I didn't want this poor kid to be enslaved. I kissed her cheek and then I laid down and fell asleep. I don't even know the kids name, but for some reason i love her beyond compare. She budged a little and then she shivered a little. I pulled my jacket off and put it one her.
Galaxy's pov
I woke up and it was dark, the moon shined fully and the water reflected off of it. I looked over at Cody and saw he gave me his hoodie to keep warm. I sat next to him frightened of him but yet there was that side of him that he cared. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted asleep. Pain shot up my body but that wasn't going to keep me from sleeping. My leg was slowly healing but i still had to be careful. Cody was nothing but a little kid to me. Even though he was scary. My thought was, why was he a pirate in the first place, was someone he loved being held captive by the captain. He wouldn't tell me if i asked though so it was pointless. I sighed and fell asleep.
The next day I woke up to Cody no where on the boat. I got up not paying attention o the pain in my leg , " CODY WHERE ARE YOU ."
not one answer came back in reply, I sat down and began to cry. He was gone and I had no one with me to keep me safe. A couple minutes later I heard splashing in the water. I looked and it was cody holding a knife and some type of adhesive. He climbed back onto the boat and said, " a small hole was in the bottom of the boat so I patched it up while you were sleeping. "
I stared at him and he locked eyes with me. He sighed and sat by me, his eyes felt cold but also relaxing at the same time. A boat was able to be seen in the distance from the corner of my eye. I pointed and Cody stood up looking harder. He froze then smiled in relief but looked at me with fear, " found the way home i guess."
I froze," what."
" Its the cap....... he found us ."
