Walking the streets of the village, the sun beamed down heavily, the breeze was gone, and not one cloud in sight. Cody took Galaxy and his sister around visiting the shops. They visited a sword shop so he looked at a certain sword wanting to get it but didn't, Galaxy knew he wanted that sword. When they were going back into the castle, they went into the ball room. He took her to her room then saw a child run past him, he looked hurt and dirty.
He followed the boy while she was distracted. The heat was tiring to him but, he soon caught up to the little boy.
Galaxy turned around and saw him gone so she was frightened, "CODY WHERE ARE YOU!!"
Cody grabbed the boy seeing a wound on him, " where's your parents kid"
The child didn't answer but another voice did. Cody pulled out his sword but soon was impailed by a blade from behind. He hit the floor bleeding as he saw the commander kneel down infront of him, " relax Cody, you'll die slowly and then Galaxy's next."
He growled, " don't touch her"
"too late you left her alone."
He got up leaving Cody to suffer alone. He bled out trying to keep his breath, "g- gala...xy r-run."
*galaxy's pov*
I put on a cloak and tried to find Cody but I had no sight, other then the commander, so I ran up to him, " WHERE'S CODY!"
" I don't know m'lady, why did he leave you alone?"
" I don't know. please help me find him!"
The commander looked at me and nodded. We walked around until going into an alley, I held my sword's handle knowing something felt off. The sword wasn't much but it protected me enough. Cody gave me it on my birthday so if I ran into trouble again. The commander stopped, " my queen you know he might have left you right?"
" no he didn't....he wouldn't commander."
He looked at me with a grin so I yelled, " WHERE IS HE!"
"probably dead by now..."
I froze looking at him in anger. He went to come near me but I backed up step by step. He rolled his eyes, " come here."
"No you murderer..., " I drew out my weapon, "he's not dead...you lie. He wouldn't let anyone kill him."
" Well I did. ya know from behind with my sword."
" YOU COWARD! YOU STRIKE HIM WHEN HE ISN'T AWARE!"
He laughed and I gripped my sword more. HE swung his sword at me as I dodged it then swung mine. The commander was good at blocking.
He tripped me to the floor then pointed his sword at my neck, " your oblivious m'lady.. they'll call me king when your dea-"
Someone grabbed him from behind stabbing him. Throwing him to the floor my brother stood there and helped me to my feet. I hugged him then kicked the commander in the waist where his stab was, " What where you saying now huh......Brother Cody is hurt, we have to find him."
"I'll tie this traitor up then send fast word to all guards."
"THANK YOU."
*timeskip*
I sat in my room worried. A knock comes to my door and I say come in. My brother walked in holding a sword with a gloom expression. I felt my eyes start to water, " NO..."
"He's being treated but... he isn't looking too good. He said he wanted you to hold onto his sword for him."
I got up, " OH MY GOD YOU SCARED ME! CAN I GO SEE HIM!"
He stopped me from leaving, " I can't sis...I'm sorry but......the medic said no visitors due to harsh conditions he is in."
I froze looking at him.
*medics POV*
He laid there almost motionless and hardly spoke. The wound he took wasn't good at all. I don't think he's making the night with how his breathing sounds, it was heavy and very slow. I told the queens brother to tell her that he was in harsh conditions and no visitors. I knew as soon as she saw him, she knew he was going to die. I saw him move a little and cough more. His eyes staired at me, " where's Galaxy....."
" Not coming to visit right now."
" I know im done ok....please I want to see her...."
" are you sure Cody?"
"yea..."
I went to the nearest guard telling him to bring the queen to Cody's resting area. H enodded and left.
*cody's pov*
Everything felt like death. My breathing hurt, my head was dizzy, and my body felt like I got run over by a bull. I felt the pain as I moved my hand.
I heard a door open and a soft voice speak, it was Galaxy for sure. I looked over to see her look at me then take my hand sitting by me.
