Sansa StarkDESCRIPTION!
The war never touched the Vale, leaving its castle walls standing tall and it's blades clean. Alys Harding lived like a princess while the Seven Kingdoms fell into despair, her gowns bright and colorful and her innocence pure as the snow that drifted from the sky. The war that happened outside the walls of the Vale were nothing more than stories, entertaining tales for her to listen to pass the time. She didn't care about the innocent blood spilt or the horrid death, not when it was so far and did not truly affect her. Her mind was more occupied by the death of Lady Lysa and her sickly son. If Robin Arryn dies, Harold Harding will be the Lord of the Vale and Alys would be the younger sister to the new Lord of the Vale, a title that positivity makes her brighten.
The only blimp on her perfect world was Alayne Stone, Petyr Baelish's bastard daughter. Her pretty smile, sad eyes, and quick tongue, all of it caused suspicion, especially the way she made herself close to Harry. Wanting to protect her brother, Alys became close to the bastard girl, never expecting to fall for Alayne herself. Soon, she found herself courting Alayne herself, much to the annoyance of her brother, the anger of Petyr Baelish, and the blushing confusion of Alayne herself.
But her silly games and grand illusions came to a deafening end as the cruelty and bloodshed reached the Vale. Unable to turn her head away from the violence, Alys is forced to see the harsh reality. Of the war, of her brother, her parents, her Alayne, of everything.

NOTES!
— meet alys; she's a brat! but we love her lmao— this very much follows the book and book!sansa's vale plot so if you never read the books it gonna be hard for you to do this one. alys is the sister of harry harding and the ward of anya waynwood. for those who don't know, in the books, harry is the heir presumptive to robin arryn and is actually called harry the heir. in the books, petyr is scheming to get harry to marry sansa (who is disguised as littlefinger's bastard, alayne) so he can get control over the vale.
— alys is very spoiled young girl, loud and abrupt and very demanding. since the war hasn't touched the vale yet, she cares little of the war or who died in it. alys is also a HUGE romantic and declared that she would never wed unless for love (and since gay marriage isn't rlly a thing in vale she's cool with never marrying and being like jeyne arryn, who never married and shared rooms with her "close friend" jessamyn redfort). also, like renly, alys's sexuality is a well known secret though ppl will try to court her. this very much annoys anya who keeps trying to pressure alys into marrying but alys is wayyy to stubborn and bold to agree. and besides, harry being alys' older brother and technical guardian in the eyes of the law, he's the only one who could force her to marry. but harry loves his sister too much to against her wished and as long as she doesn't cause too much trouble, he's fine with her doing whatever.
— however, this doesn't mean alys doesn't have ambitions. she very much wants harry to succeed (they are siblings and his victories are her victories after all) and since she basically thinks that sweetrobin is a dead kid walking and that harry will be the lord of the vale eventually, she focuses a lot of cultivating harry's relationships with the lords of the vale and a marriage that will give him power.
— this is why she's so distrustful of alayne at first, littlefinger's (who she doesn't like or trust) bastard trying to get close to harry just screams bad news so she tries to get close to alayne/sansa to find out what she's up to. but jokes on her cause she ends up falling in love with sansa (i mean, who can blame her tho).
— also, when the summary says alys starts courting sansa, she legitimately does all the things one does when courting. she does it subtly and without outright acknowledging it's courting but she ain't fooling anyone, at least not petyr or sansa.
— things however, starts to go downhill. we have entered spoiler territory so if you want this plot, comment and i'll dm you the rest
— btw you can change the title and/or the fcs since it's ehh
