Alex barely had any sleep that night and came the morning, he rushed to the precinct and called a meeting which the Chief, Peter, Sally and Jimmy, amongst others, attended. Alex explained to his colleagues much of the events of the previous night. He also made it clear that Crowbar was not Zander Ford because his height and built, and the way he talked, were completely different from the activist's. A few eyebrows were raised and a few questions were asked, but mostly the meeting was just Alex describing the conversation he had with the, now pronounced, vigilante.

Just as Alex was about to finish his story an officer brought in news that Crowbar had attacked the Crown Bank Tower, and had taken several hostages.

"Let's move out people! Hurry it up! LET'S GO! GO! GO!!!" shouted the Chief and everyone hustled. In no time, majority of the police personal from the Northern precinct were at the crime scene, and the area around the bank was cordoned off. The police tried to make contact with the vigilante but he never responded. After about 15 minutes of confusion a voice, amplified through a loudspeaker, came from within the bank, "To my audience I say, thank you all very much for coming out. And sorry for the delay, we had to fix some technical issues. But now, let's get this show started!"

Alex quickly affirmed that the voice is actually Crowbar's. Just then the front door of the bank opened. Blind folded and hands tied; the hostages stumbled out and Crowbar closely followed with an automatic weapon in his right hand. Alex shouted, "Don't shoot! Hold your fire!" Then addressing the snipers over the com he said, "Do not shoot. I repeat, DO NOT SHOOT!"

A voice came from the loud speaker again, "My beautiful audience! Before shooting, at least count the hostages. I can assure you there is one or two missing..."

And missing they were. The bank's CEO and one of its security guards were nowhere to be seen. Crowbar kept standing right in front of the door while the people, tripping and stumbling, eventually made their way down the stairs to the police personal. His metallic mask and leather boasting attire was clearly visible in the broad daylight even from the far. He had donned a brown leather jacket and pitch black jeans.

With all the other hostages accounted for, Alex and the Chief moved ahead, "What have you done with the CEO?" the chief asked.

"And the Security Guard," said Alex, extending the query.

"Oh he's fine. He is just fine," said Crowbar as he raised his weapon and pointed it at the Chief. Over the com lines the snipers were continuously asking for permission to open fire but they were denied by Alex.

Crowbar said, "How are you, Roy?" and then placed the weapon on the ground.

"I am fine, thank you," the chief replied, loud and confident.

"Oh, but you are anything but fine, Roy... anything but fine..." Saying that Crowbar formed a gun with his finger and gestured as if to shoot the Chief. Then said, "Alex! So glad you could join us, man! Come on in, I've got to show you something."

Before Alex could respond, Sally moved forward. Pointing her gun at Crowbar she shouted, "He is not going anywhere and neither are you!"

Crowbar, calm as always, replied, "For all you know Sally Brian, there could be a ton of TNT attached to that mongrel of a Chief Executive Officer's ass set to blow the moment I snap my fingers..."

"Enough games Crowbar. I am coming up there," Alex said. Everyone advised him against the action, but, giving his gun to Sally and without even wearing a protective vest or a wire, Alex walked towards Crowbar.

Sally looked at the Chief. "Why is he trusting that man!" she exclaimed.

"It's because he knows the case," shouted Crowbar.
