"heyyyy tendou!" hanamaki screamed as he ran toward the redhead in the middle of the street.
"hEY MAKKI" tendou yelled back with the biggest amount of enthusiasm.
when the two met up on the other side of the street they exchanged their normal ritual of a secret handshake, while matsukawa and semi only nodded to each other. they were both quite tired.
while tendou and makki continued rattling on about god knows what, matsukawa and semi created a normal conversation.
"so how's your guys' relationship going?" semi asked.
"been the best 4 months of my life, makki is my everything." matsukawa smiled as makki chest bumped tendou after quoting a vine.
"that's great." semi smiled, he was happy to see that they were doing well.
"we should really get our group together again, i miss our hangouts." semi said with a warm smile.
"that sounds great." matsukawa agrees.
the group they were talking about was none other than one of the most well-known friend groups on campus.
they were a big group of friends but everyone looked up to them and understood their status as being top-tier.
their friend group included semi, matsukawa, ushijma, iwaizumi, kenma, and akaashi.
they all seemed to be on the same wave length most of the time, and they all didn't completely despise each other.
"so speaking of our love lives," mattsun raised a brow at semi, "anyone in your sights lately?"
"me? nah."
"ya sure about that?"
"yeah completely sure, i don't see any crushes in my near future." semi waved the idea away.
"hm well if you say so." mattsun replied, although he wasn't totally convinced.
"well i better get this one home we've had a long day." matsukawa said as he pulled makki after him.
"alright, it was nice to see you, say hi to iwaizumi for me!" semi called, while tendou saluted makki.
"will do!" and just like that the meme team turned the corner to their dorm rooms.

"hey we're back!" matsukawa called into the dorm.
makki ran right for the kitchen in search for a good snack.
he didn't find one, what he did find was iwaizumi and oikawa making out in the kitchen.
makki gasped in a mocked tone before letting out a very irritating "not in front of my salad!"
mattsun soon rounded the corner at the sound of makki's gasp and fell to the ground in laughter.
what was a makeout session, turned to a blushing session as the two turned away from each other in embarrassment.
"so you two are finally together then?" matsukawa asked.
"y-yeah i guess we are." oikawa said and moved to sit on iwaizumi's bed.
makki gasped.
"mattsun you owe me ten bucks."
"dang it, you couldn't wait one more week to get together." mattsun muttered, handing the money over in frustration.
"thank you my love." makki took it gladly and leapt back to the cabinets for a snack.
"oh iwaizumi." mattsun called.
iwaizumi finally got up and sat on his bed as well.
"yeah what's up?" he asked.
"i ran into semi today, he says hi btw, but also he was saying we should get the gang together soon."
"hey that's a great idea." iwaizumi agreed. "i miss our big group hangouts."
"thats what he was saying too, guess we should wake the group chat up."

kenma: what a way to wake up the group chat.
matsukawa: ikr very inventive
akaashi: is there a reason for this very rude summoning
matsukawa: actually there is
akaashi: care to enlighten us all?
matsukawa: so i ran into semi earlier, and he said we should get the group together. iwaizumi agrees.
ushijima: oh thats not such a bad plan.
akaashi: i agree.
matsukawa: so when yall free
kenma: uh ik me and kaashi are free anytime in afternoons, we have morning shifts
semi: and i have morning classes
matsukawa: okay an afternoon meeting it is
matsukawa: itll have to be a day i have off cause me and makki take afternoons
akaashi: oh crap i forgot ab that
iwaizumi: not to jump the gun or anything but howd you guys feel ab a sleepover
kenma: im not against it..
ushijima: sounds fine to me
matsukawa: perfect! kaashi and kenken is it okay if we have it at your place
akaashi: i don't mind but yall are chippin in for food
kenma: yeah and don't buy all chips again matsukawa you left at least 20 bags at our room last time
matsukawa: fine fine pick some other snacks then smh
ushijima: so this friday then?
iwaizumi: sounds good to me
akaashi: see you guys then!
