A Little Bit Closer

Chapter 1

You arrive at Noah's house on Christmas Eve for his Christmas party. He greets you at the door and you go inside. The house smells of cookies and sweet, Christmas scents. His mom yells from the kitchen as she's making more cookies, "omg hi y/n!" You smile at how excited she is about the party. "hi Mrs.Schnapp" you respond in a cheerful tone. Noah grins at both of you and asks you if you're want to watch some TV. You politely decline and tell him that you're gonna help his mom make cookies. He turns on the TV and you go to the kitchen and start helping. After the cookies are done, his mom leaves and tells you and Noah to have a fun time, and to not party too hard. About 5-10 minutes later, more guests start arriving to the party. You and Noah greet all of them and tell them to take a seat somewhere and wait till everyone gets to the party. After everyone arrives, the festivities begin. There's games, food, and dancing all around the house. After a few hours of partying, people begin to leave and you start cleaning up. "The house is a mess.." Noah mumbles. You hear this and respond, "it's alright Noah. We'll get it cleaned up." He smiles at how much you care and you both get to work.
