A Little Bit Closer

Chapter 4

15 minutes later, Noah's mom comes through the door with tons of bags. You run to the door to open it and help her carry things inside. "Don't look inside!!" she shouts as Noah is trying to sneak a peek inside of a Hollister bag. "okay, okay jeez" Noah replies, putting the bag down on the table. You giggle and set a few more bags down on the table. Noah's mom starts walking around and looking for wrapping paper. "Goodness I'm so unorganized" she says, "I can't find ANY wrapping paper and Christmas is in 2 days!!" You step up and offer to go to the store and get some, and Noah chimes in and agrees too. "Oh yes thank you so much y/n" she says, and you and Noah go upstairs to get ready. After about 5 minutes, you and Noah are ready to leave. You grab 2 of Noah's skateboards and set off the the nearest store. When you get there, you and Noah are both freezing and run inside the building quickly. Noah eventually find the gift wrap and you guys checkout. "Wanna go get some hot chocolate or coffee?" you ask Noah. He agrees and you head down to the local cafe. You both order and sit down at a table. A waiter brings you guys' drinks and Noah gets a text from his mom. it reads, "get home ASAP" Noah starts panicking and throws away half of his drink, and you do the same.
