Chapter 5

Soon enough Caspar and Joe had gone back to London as they were going to a party tonight and i was just sitting on the sofa with an asleep Nala on my laps whilst i watched tv. Alfie had gone to get some Indian food and Zoe was editing her video. I felt my phone vibrate in my hand, i slid my finger to the right and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" I say as i hear wispering on the other end of the line. "Who is this?"

"Are you Emily Sugg?" I can hear a high pitched girl voice on the other side.

"Yeah, that's me" i say.

"OMG" i hear screaming on the other side. "Are you with Joe or Caspar or Zoe O.M.G ARE YOU WITH ALFIE"

"Excuse me, who is this?"

"PLEASEE PUT ALFIE OR JOE ON TH..." I hang up and put my back in my pocket. Soon it buzzes again. I lock the screen and see the same number so i decide to ignore it but they carry on calling. Suddenly the front door opens and Alfie walks in with two bags in his hands.
"Yum!! I'm so hungry" Zoe says coming into the living room.

I put nala on her bed and head to the table placing my phone beside me. Once we've started eating my phone rings various times.
"Hey Em, who is calling you?" Zoe asks.

"I don't know, i picked up and they just started screaming asking for you guys"

"How the hell did they find out her number?" Alfie asks Zoe.

The phone rings again and Alfie takes it.
"Hey girls, can you please stop calling this number?"
Alfie separates the phone from his ear as the girls start screaming. Once they've stopped Alfie talks to them and says hi.
"You'll have to change numbers Em" Zoe says. "We don't want you having loads of calls"

"How do i change numbers?" I ask her.

"We'll ask mum or dad"

Woopsy! That remindef me that i had to call my mum. I take the phone from the table and dial the numbers, it doesn't take two rings and she's already picked up.
"Hi mum"
"I thought you weren't going to call me tonight. Are you at Zoe's and Alfie's?"
"Yes! I got here this morning ma"
"Well be careful love, i have to leave now"
"Bye ma, love you"
"Love you more" she says before hanging up. Just as she does i see a skype voice call pop up, it's from connor.
"Hi connor" i say.
"Hey Em's, are you with Zoe or Joe?" He asks.
"I'm at Zalfie's at the moment" I say.
"Can you get Zoe or Alfie on skype?"
"Sure, is everything okay Con?"
"Corse it is, it's just i'm calling Zoe on skype and she won't pick up"
I pass the phone to Zoe and she gets up from the table.
"Thank you so much, yes! I'm sure she'll be very happy"... "ahaaa"..."I still have to ask my parents but i'm sure they'll say yes"... "no"... "Alfie and I can't"... "No! Emm... Ask Joe and Caspar maybe they can"... "Next week?"... "Perfect Connor"... "No! Thank you, byee"
She hangs up sitting down at the table and gives me the phone.
"What did Connor want?" I asked looking at her impatiently.
"He just said yes to taking you to disneyland Paris Next week"
"OMGGGG" I shout running all around the kitchen table "Wait" i say pausing and sitting down at the table. "Next week is the Valentine's Prom at school, i promised Dani" i had forgotten for a second that no one knows about Dani from my family "Daniella, yes... Daniella my friend. I promised i'd go with her"
Alfie and Zoe looked at me with a 'this-girl-is-insane-or-lying' face. "Emily Delilah Sugg tell me you do not have a boyfriend" Zoe said standing up a bit hiper. "I don't have a boyfriend Zoe" I say. I look around the room nervously as i feel Zoe's eyes on me. "You have a boyfriend!" She repeats! "I don't!". "I'm calling Joe and asking him if he know something" she says getting up from the table and taking her phone, dialing joe's number. I get up and run after her, i end up chasing her all around the house.

"Joe is it you?" ... "You won't believe this!!" I run over to Zoe and catch her pushing her to the floor. I quickly take the phone out of her hand and cut the call. Then we stay on the floor for a while fighting playfully obviously. Then Alfie comes over and pulls me off Zoe putting me on the sofa. Zoe jumps on the sofa beside me and stares at me.
"Give me my phone" she says extending her hand. Just as i'm about to give Zoe her hand it starts ringing, Joe's face appears on the screen. I quickly take it and answer him.
"Hey Zoe, is everything okay?"
"It's me Emily! Yeah everything is perfect i was just wandering if everything is okay?"
"Yeah haha Em's what the hell are you doing? Do Zalfie bore you?"
"No not really! Can i tell you something?"
"Of course Em's, anything!"
"Connor asked if we wanted to go paris in a few weeks"
"What? Really? Who?"
"Me and if you and Caspar want to come you can come too"
"Oh my! That's awesome! We'll talk about it tomorrow when we pick you up! I have to go Ems! Sleep well"
"Same Joe! Say goodnight to Casp too"
He hangs up and i give the phone to Zoe.
"Should we watch a movie?" Alfie says sitting between Zoe and I.

We were half way through the movie and Zoe was fast asleep on Alfie.
"Hey Emily"
"What's up Alfie?"
"What's his name?"
"What?" I say looking at him.
"Your boyfriend"
"I don't have a bo..."
"You can't lie to me Em's"
"He's called Daniel" I whisper sitting up and turning to face Alfie.
"Why don't you want anyone to know?"
"Cose... He's s bit older than me and Joe and Zoe aren't going to approve"
"How old is he Emily?"
"You have to promise not to tell anyone"
"How old is he Em's?"
"Just promise Alfie"
"I can't promise that Emily"
"He's not that old, that's all i'm telling you"
"You do know your fifteen Emily? You know that?"
"I know"

"Emily" Zoe says opening her eyes. "You need to tell me how old he is"
"He's just 19"
"Just?!? Emily that's a 4 year difference, he's too old for you Emily."
"I'm turning 16 very soon! It's practically like you and Alfie, If i was 21 and he was 25 there wouldn't be a problem"
"But Emily that's the problem you're not 21 you're 15!"
"Nearly 16" i shout running into the guest room where i was staying.
At that moment my phone starts ringing. As i see the picture on the screen i can't help but smile.
"Hi" i say, my voice nearly not coming out.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"Yeah, i'm okay"
"Tell me what's wrong?"
"I told Alfie about you and Zoe over heard and they say you're told old for me Dani, you aren't, right?"
He doesn't answer and for a few seconds we're silent.
"I'm not too old but i am older. I understand Zoe and how she thinks i'm too old for you"
"Dani you aren't breaking up with me are you?"
"No" he takes a long breath "i think i'm not"
"Why d'you call?" I ask, my voice shaking as my cheeks get wet from the tears.
"I was calling because i won't be able to go to the Valentine's school dance"
"Why?" I whisper trying my best to avoid him from hearing my sobs. But just as i'm about to say that i can't go either a sob escapes from my mouth
"Emily, please don't cry"
"I'm not" i lie bitting my bottom lip.
"I have to see you! I have to tell you something incredible Emily"
"What is it? Tell me Dani"
"I can't tell you on the phone, i'm taking the tube right now, i need to hang up"
"But what is it? dani?"

Beep. Beep. Beep.

'Where's he going at this time?' I ask myself as i look at the clock on the wall which marks 1:00am. 'Where the hell can Dani be going at this time?" I try and call him but it just says that the phone is out of service. I finally fall asleep. At 3:15am my phone starts vibrating under my pillow. Dani is calling me. I can feel tears streaming down my face as i think about the worse. My breathing was getting heavier and i couldn't breath 'What if there's been an accident?' 'What if he's been mobbed' 'What the hell was he doing out at this time of night'

"Dani" i cry into the phone, barely able to breath.
"Emily... It's okay baby, i'm fine"
"You scared me you stupid thing" i cry scream into the phone.
"Come outside!"
"What?"
"I'm outside of the Zoe's house, that's were i was going"
I quickly take my coat from the hanger taking the keys from the table and run out of the front door, my face still wet from crying.
"Dani" i shout running into his arms. "I really thought the worst had happen" i cry as he raps his arms around me puling me into a hug.
"It's fine, I'm okay" he says kissing my lips softly.
"What are you doing here?"
"You won't believe it Emily"
