Chapter 4

She knew what she was doing.

She definitely did.

There was someone watching them.

"FITZ!" Sophie screamed. "Biana, I know you're there too."

They both stepped out from the corner of Elwin's room.

"We came here when we heard you screaming," Fitz muttered.

"THEN WHY DID YOU HIDE IN A CORNER AND ALSO TURN INVISIBLE?!"

"The mysterious Miss F does know everything. Or should I be calling you Lady Fos-Boss now?"

"Back to joking already?" Fitz muttered.

(Btw you're probably wondering why Fitz is muttering so much.)

"Yup. Looks like you're jealous than more than my hair," he said, grinning at Sophie.

She shifted half a meter away, just to clarify.

Ro peeked her head in, staring round at all of them, then pouting.

"I was hoping to find Lord Hunkyhair and Blondie in a snuggle moment again," she snickered.

"AGAIN?!" Fitz almost screeched.

"Jealous?" Keefe asked, putting his arm round Sophie.

She hated to admit it, but it felt really good, and she leaned against him.

"Theeeeeeeeeeeeere's the snuggling. Now hurry up and kiss so I can take have one good thing to look back at when I'm old. Oh, actually, the look on Prettyboy's face is enough."

Sophie stared at Ro, wanting to scream, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Then she looked at Keefe. He was already looking at her.

"Fitz, I think Keefe is taking over the looking into each other's eyes thing." said Dex, appearing in the doorway, with all the bodyguards by him.

"Wow, okay. I'm going to bed," Sophie said. She dragged a cot beside Keefe's and fluffed up the pillow before plopping herself down and locking all her joints to prove that she wouldn't move.

Elwin appeared out of nowhere and said with a sigh, "Fine, Sophie, but she's the only one who's sleeping here, since she and Keefe have a strong connection.

Keefe flashed a quick look at Fitz before he said at the same time as Fitz, mimicking his voice, "They're not that close."

Fitz blushed and turned away before slunking out of the door, Biana behind him.

He turned around to see Dex had already lay in a cot too.

"Okay."

Sophie looked at Keefe one last time before settling down to sleep.
