CHAPTER 2 - Why are you reading that if you can make it true with me?

Summer Richards (15) is Josh and Nessa's daughter. She always had a crush on Jaden (17), they both like each other but never told the other. They tend to flirt and everyone in Sway ships them, but they are both afraid of showing the other their real feelings.

Summer's POV

I was in my room watching a series when dad shouted

Josh: shouting baby! We're going in the pool, want to come?

Summer: shouting coming!

I went to my closet and grabbed one of my favorite swimsuits. It's white and has a flower pattern in it. I put some sunscreen on and grabbed my favorite sun glasses.

I walked downstairs and saw Jaden in the kitchen. Jaden is Bryce and Addison's son, and I kind of have a huge crush on him. We flirt some times, but I think he does it as a joke. We've lived together since we were born, well, since I was born, and we always were like best friends.

Jaden: oh, hey Sum, want something to drink?

Summer: nah, thanks JJ

He is so cute. When he makes eye contact with me with his blue eyes, he literally gives me butterflies. But I don't think he feels the same, he probably sees me as his little sister.

I walked outside and went to mom who was tanning with Dixie.

Nessa: hi bubs

Dixie: hi summer

Summer: hi mom, and hey Dix

Nessa: what were you doing upstairs?

Summer: just watching some Netflix and-

I was cut off by Jaden carrying me and about to throw me to the pool.

Summer: Jaden I'm telling you now, if you throw me to the pool I-

Jaden: it's too late

And now I was under the water.

Summer: I HATE YOU SOMETIMES HALL

Jaden: teasingly I know you love me Richards

I blushed, why does he have to do this?

Jaden: aww, you blushed

I walked up to him and went super near his face

Summer: let me tell you something little Hall, you blush every time I'm near you

And obviously he blushed. I don't know were the courage came from.

Quinton: ship ship ship

Anthony: why aren't you guys dating already?

Blake: yeah, like you would be super cute together

We both blushed, so I went with dad who was talking with Bryce

Summer: hey dad

Josh: oh hi princess, why aren't you in the pool

Summer: I'm cold

Josh: c'mere

He gave me a towel and I sat beside him.

Bryce: what were you doing with Jaden?

Josh: teasing uuuuuu Jaden

Summer: stop dad, don't embarass me

Josh: I'm sorry, I'm sorry

Bryce: but it's true, you too should date. I know you wouldn't hurt Jaden and I know Jaden wouldn't hurt you.

Josh: yeah, like you are really close since you were born we could say

Bryce: you would be so cute together

Josh: remember when you two used to make this weddings and invite all Sway and you would try to kiss and-

Summer: DAD

Josh: okay, okay, I'll stop

Summer: I think I'm going to read something

I went inside the house and to my room. I put on one of dad's t-shirts cause, why not? And then I went outside again.

When I was in the garden, I went and sat under the tree. We used to have a hammock hanging, but once, when I was around 9 and Jaden was 11, we tried to hammock both at the same time, so it broke.

I started reading some Wattpad love stories. I was so into the story that I didn't notice that Jaden was reading from behind. Suddenly he grabbed my cheeks, turned my head around and said:

Jaden: why are you reading that if you can make it true with me? 

And he kissed me, WAIT, he kissed me?

I didn't know what to do so I just stayed in the kiss. It was a really sweet kiss, nothing heated. Like 5 minutes later we separated from each other and Jaden said:

Jaden: Summer, I like you, I really like you. I remember when we were kids and used to play princesses and princes and we said we would get married. And then, when you were around 11 and I was 13, we made this Minecraft worlds pretending we were a couple that lived together. I have liked you since we were like 4, Sum.

Summer: I really like you too J

Jaden: so... would you be my girlfriend?

Summer: yes, yes and a hundred times yes

And he kissed me again. I felt so so happy I can't even express it.

Bryce: shouting I've been waiting for this one, turn it up

Jaden: dad, please stop

Addison: I'm reserving a table at Saddle Ranch for tonight

Noah: I'm inviting the Hype House

Summer: it's not like he just proposed and we're engaged, we just started dating

Griffin: it's still important.

Amelie: we've been waiting for this moment since you were born basically

Jaden: so you shipped us since I was only 3?

Kio: you could say that

Cynthia: you two were meant to be
