Dangerous

Chapter 3

I woke up and headed to Suga's room. He was waiting for me . His doctor hadn't come yet and he looked nervous. I smiled and gave him a hug. "I'm having surgery on my heart, chest/lungs, throat area they are removing the cancerous tumors and fixing a problem with my heart and they are going to remove the cancerous parts of my parathyroid gland " he says as he squeezes my hand. "I'll be here when you get back, I will also bring Jimin & J-Hope with me " I say as his doctor comes in with two surgical attendants. I head to both Jimin & J-Hope's rooms and tell them that I told Suga that we would be there when he got back from surgery . 2 hours later Suga returned from his surgery. His chest was wrapped and his throat was also wrapped. He groggly opened his eyes and smiled at me and then at his friends. "I'm so glad you guys are here. I feel somewhat better" he says weakly. The nurses come in and put in a ventilator and puts some more pain meds in his I.V and they also put a blood transfusion in his other arm and attach a EEG machine to his chest. Then they put in some sleep meds and tell me and Jimin and J-Hope that we would have to leave. We got up and walked out. "Why don't we go see Jin ? " Jimin suggests. "Whose Jin ? " I ask puzzled. "He's are friend and are apart of our group that we have and he's been here the longest out of all of us " J-Hope anwsers . Once we got to Jin's room . I was surprised it looked just like mine . An ICU room and when I went inside, I was immediately saddened . There were machines everywhere and in the middle was a weakly scrawny looking kid . I felt bad, not like the bad as in you done something wrong but as in I knew I couldn't do anything . "Hey Jin, we brought a new friend " Jimin says trying not to cry . "Hey I'm Jin and your name is ? " He asked weakly . "I'm Leanna and I'm in for a brain tumor " I say as I look into his blue-green almost like sea glass eyes . "I have terminal Leukemia and Lymphoma " He says weakly. "They are giving me a ruff estimate of 4 months and then I'm done . When I go will you watch my friends for me ? " He asks me . I nod and also ask if he wants to be friends with me . He nods and begins to cough the coughs racking his already weak body . I escort Jimin, J-Hope & Suga out into the hallway where Jimin & Suga cry into my arms . J-hope stands off to the side till the boys are done crying then he walks silently with us back to the hang-out area . A somewhat tall lanky boy stands in the corner . "Jung Kook, is that you ? " I ask as he looks surprised and walks toward me . "What are you doing here ?" He asks . "Brain tumor "

I say. "Ah, I'm in for osteosarcoma " He says as I notice part of his ankle is missing . "How do you Jung Kook ? " Suga asks . "We met online and started talking and then we met in really life and we go to the same school and eventually we just became best friends . " I say .

* Later *

The nurses didn't want me near Suga because he's battling some disease that's ugly and contagious besides his cancer (which isn't contagious ). So I did my chemotherapy treatment in my room and then I dug into the homework we had been given . One assignment of English was to write a letter to someone in the class . It was secret and we didn't sign our name just left it blank . It was like secret Santa or valentine's day . So my letter went something like this ....

" Dear Suga, you seem nice . I glad to have you as a classmate . You don't need to change anything . I love the way you laugh and smile . Your eyes are so pretty. You have a good voice when we are singing . You always seemed to put me in a good mood . I'm sorry about Jin, I know you to are close as brothers with friends benefits . I hope you never change and we are cancer twins so let's both kick cancer together and create cancer twins pact. I'll see you on the roof tomorrow . Sincerely .....

I smiled at the letter and sealed it, writing his name on the top . I worked on my homework till a lady came in and asked me if I wanted to go watch a movie in the hang-out area . I nodded . I get up and walk out to the hang-out . There was several other kids there and they were all dressed in comfy clothes . I smiled as Jung Kook waved me over . "What r we watching ? " I ask/whisper into his ear . "Aladdin " He says smiling . I love this movie, it's always been one of my favorites since I was six years old . I watch contented and when it ends I head back to my room and the nurses announce "That lights out in five minutes " . I crawl under my covers and go to sleep . Soon the lights snap off and everyone except the staff are asleep .

* The Next Day *

I wake up and immediately Jimin's face is in mine . He looks somewhat upset . "Jin went under a emergency surgery yesterday and they put him on life support . His estimate got dropped to less than three months like 2 and a half months " He says the tears falling in my face . "It will be okay . The doctors are very good here . He will survive " I say wiping Jimin's tears . He gets off my bed and let's me sit up . My head is killing me . Ugh ! Stupid headaches. I hit the call button and a nurse comes in . By this time, Jimin is a sleep in the recliner chair that is in my room . "My heads killing me " I tell the nurse and she gives me some pain meds and a little sleep meds . Jimin wakes up and sees I'm asleep . He yawns and goes back to sleep .

* A month Later *

My friends are in my room sitting on the floor or on my bed or in the chair in the corner or on the window bench . "Wait ! There's one more coming . I'm coming, I'm coming " I hear a weak voice say as I begin to smile . In wheels Jin and he looks a little bit better than last time I saw him . He was hooked to oxygen which was sitting in a little bag on the back of his wheelchair but otherwise . He looked better . Jimin & Suga & Jung Kook were thrilled to see him .
