People wait for your downfall. But that downfall will never come if you get up and keep going. I will get up and keep going.- The Princess Queen..
Nortadelo's princess; she's an original. Pretty and smart is she. A typical purple girly girl. Calm and sweet just like her mother. Brave and stubborn like her father. Long wavy blonde hair that falls to her back. She was the definition of feminine and she gave the word power.
Liliana Aurelia Cohen, the only daughter, and child of her parents was born on a cold autumn night. She brought Joy to the kingdom and promised to bring more Joy. However, living in a world where people support Male rulers more than females is something else. You have to live up to expectations or people start to doubt you and call you incapable and the rest. That's why being her is difficult. You have to be flawless at all times. In the past, Nortadelo has had only a few failed female rulers. Her case is different, she is the only child of her parents but she was a promise. On the very day that she was born, she was a promise of prosperity. She was protected and guarded like the very gem that she was.
So when the day came that it was discovered that Nortadelo's peace was at stake, it was kept from her. There are so many secrets between Surterra and Nortadelo. Surterra had something against Nortadelo, they always did. In the past, the rulers had always found a way to keep their anger at bay but there were always tensions. Very high tensions that kept growing over the years. There was a real reason why the people of both lands hated each other and a reason why their underlying hatred was sealed at the bottom of the sea with a pact. A reason why they are not fighting war until the last man stands.
《Liliana's pov》
I was seated in my seat mute as the elders and my parent were having a meeting. Why is it a must that I attend this meeting? I don't even make any contributions to it. "Lastly your Highness the trikingdoms are having a royal retreat next two weeks." The 3rd speaker said. "Well tell them I unfortunately can not attend. Unfortunately." My father said standing up and leaving the room. And if I were to stand up and leave the room I would never hear the end of it. They brought the meeting to an end and I stood up and left. I went to the maid's quarters and met Ana there. Ana is like the Sister I never had. She's the daughter of a maid, I'm the daughter of the king and queen but our friendship is as good as any other. "So how was your meeting" She said sarcastically. "It was very fun and entertaining". I replied. "Well, that's nice to hear" Ana replied giggling. "I'm kidding it was more terrible than you could imagine Ana" I replied playfully hitting her hand. "When you queen you can make the meetings more interesting," Ana said lying on the bed.
hat hurts so much is to live in a land of mystery. Liliana thought to herself as she fed the horses. Why are some of the books in the library forbidden to read or even look at? She hadn't noticed it before but her parents were way too overprotective of her. She doesn't know anything about her 2nd cousins who are the royal family of Surteirra or Surteirra itself. Is it normal to have about 50 guards accompany you if you just going to the duke's house to meet his daughter for dinner? Nortadelo is so mysterious that on a certain day every year an eclipse happens and on the night of the eclipse she isn't even allowed to leave her room.
From the door to the stables, a curly-haired girl appeared. Ana, Liliana's lady-in-waiting. It wasn't quite surprising how the two girls bonded after all Ana was just a year older than Liliana. The princess never thought of her as her lady-in-waiting rather she thought of her as a Best friend.
''Liliana you late for dinner'' she said almost running into the stable. 'I lost track of time' Liliana said before noticing she used that excuse for the fourth day in a row. Ana paused in her tracks noticing that the princess was heading straight for the dinner hall. ''Where are you going'' Ana asked the princess. 'To dinner' she replied almost wanting to blurt out a 'dah'
''You do realize that if you go without cleaning up you'll be busted that you were out back instead of studying diplomacy'' Ana whispered because they were so quite close to the diner hall and the huge castle might echo her voice if she raised it. 'What would I be without you"Liliana said realizing that she would have made the worst mistake of the century walking into the dining hall like that. Then Ana replied '' Dead''
After changing as fast as she could, she put on a neutral face and walked into the dining hall. She could feel her parent's gaze on her and when she reached her seat, her mother spoke ''You late again my dear." Liliana bit her tongue to stop herself from lying. She thought for half a second before saying "I'm sorry" and plastering a smile on her face. It felt better than to lie to her dear mother. "It's okay, now sit and eat your dinner". She spared her father a glance and a smile before digging into her dinner.
