"Thanks Jean', I smiled at Jean - the head librarian of the week, and took the book from her hands and looked at it. "You sure I'll enjoy it?" I asked, reading the story's description on the back cover. I wasn't one who loves mystery books, it's always complicated.
"You'll love it. Paper Towns is great!" Jean said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "I know you don't love mystery ones, but please, this is gonna be one of those books you'll stay up all night for."
I looked up, back at her. "You sure about that?" Jean nodded too many times.
I handed the book back to Jean and got my library card out from my purse and passed it to Jean.
"Two weeks." Jean reminded while scanning the card and typing something into the computer before handing the card and book back to me. "See you soon." She smiled before turning back to the computer.
I gently shoved the book into my bagpack and headed out of the library. It's been days since I'd last visited the library. All because of Jack.
I was zipping my bagpack up when suddenly I bumped into someone and their books fell onto the floor. "Use your eyes, woman." That person said before bending over to pick up the books. I squat down and helped to pick up the books.
"Oh, it's you." That person said. I look up, and found myself meeting Liz, that punk-rock librarian who had me to meet Jack. Liz looked at me, and took the Art textbook from my hands before standing up again. She blew a bubble from the gum in her mouth and it popped, spitting some salivas on me. Shit. "How's you and the boy?" She asked.
I looked at her confusingly, wondering who was she talking about. "Jack?"
Liz stared at me, and popped a bubble in front of me again. "Duh. Who else?"
"Um... I guess we're both fine?"
"You guys are together now?"
"No, unless you count pretend-dating then yes."
"Lame." Liz rolled her eyes and laughed like some evil Disney witch.
I stared at her with one eyebrow raised. "What?"
"Be together with him. Hello? Who am I?" Liz asked me like I was some small kid.
"Erm.. you're Liz? The one who made me talk to him?"
"What do the school call me?" Liz looked at me, both eyebrows raised.
"The school's... psycho- I mean psychic."
Liz glared at me. "Right. And people call me that for a reason. Right?"
"Right." Where is this conversation heading to?
"So, just get together with him already!" For once, she sounded like a fangirl and not some rock-n-roll chick.
"For what? He likes someone else."
*Bell rings* Break's over.
"Right. Wait 'til you know who's she." Liz said before turning around and walking away, leaving me in the hall that was starting to fill with other students that were heading to their classroom since the bell had rang. I stood there, not knowing what she meant, I shook my head to get the thought off my head and shrugged, taking a deep breath before heading back to my classroom.

I wanted to write this last weekend, but couldn't. Stupid homeworks. :p but here you go! :) I love Paper Towns!
(btw, this is kind of a rightaway writing so it's not edited or reread.)
To French Fries,
DO NOT SPOIL ANYTHING (FOR OTHER PEOPLE). and erm.... I'll reread everything again once this book is completed, but just so you know, nothing's going on being your Fav boy and Cabby.
Or maybe there'll be.

Misheard
Short StoryCabby Moore, the bookworm who always goes to the library after school every day. Every time, she'd ask the on-duty librarian to recommend a book. But one day, a librarian -a.k.a. the school's weirdo/psychic- told her to talk to a guy instead.
