Splitting

Tord got up early and rubbed his face. 'I have to tell Edd.' Tord kept repeating the phrase until suddenly, "I... have to tell Edd."

"Mmng?... Tell... me what?" Edd said sleepily.

Tord flinched and looked at Edd tearing up. "I... well... I... uhm it's something important."

Edd sat up yawning and nodding, "Okay... is it bad news?"

"I mean... it depends how you look at it honestly but I think it's pretty heavy for you to know." Tord mumbled.

Edd blinked groggily at Tord.

"Edd... I... uhm... " Tord looked at legs. "I was working and went to the lab... then while testing something I may have messed up. Badly..." Tord mumbled.

Edd was now fully awake. He sat next to Tord on the bed and Tord scooted away. "Tord?"

Tord looked like he was about to cry. "I can't say how or why... but Edd... after the explosion I had with the new gun... I... can't seem to..."

Edd tilted his head, "Can... you not get it up?"

"... Edd no... it... I just don't know why but ever since the explosion I haven't even wanted to see you... in fact I'm... not feeling anything towards you. Like I feel with Matt or Tom. I don't know what's wrong with me." Tord whimpered.

"Do you... not love me anymore?" Edd asked looking at Tord.

"I... probably... I probably only liked you as an obsessive crush..." Tord mumbled.

Edd didn't say a word. Until a soft smile came. "Oh hah... Tord that's okay you know me... I'll get over it."

Tord blinked, "Wh... really?"

Edd stood up turning to brush himself off. "I'll probably sleep with Tom since you don't have a quarters for me."

Tord nodded, "Yeah..."

Edd hiccuped, and nodded.

Tord gulped, 'He hasn't hiccuped like that since-'

"Welp... gotta go! Hopefully Tom or Matt have open floors!" Edd said rushing out.

Tord looked pale. 'Oh god what have I done...'

Edd rushed to Tom's room. "Tom? Tom!" Edd pounded on the door.

Tom slowly cracked the door open, "Early... nmnhg."

Edd burst open the door and went in as Matt came out of his room from the ruckus going to Tom and Edd. "Edd?... it's early?"

Edd shivered starting to cry. "He... Tord doesn't care about me romantically anymore... I... I feel so used... he said he ... was probably only crushing... I freaking hate this so much."

Tom looked nervously at Matt.

Matt hugged Edd, "Hey... calm down I'll talk to him maybe he .... maybe he got hit too hard or maybe he's trying to protect you by pushing you away?"

Tom smacked the back of Matt's head, "Matt, don't give him false hope! They need a break and if it falls under then so be it!"

Matt whimpered, "B-but!"

"Butts are for sitting so instead of sitting on the past you should look towards future relationships. I know you loved... Tord but maybe you should look for new love... maybe one less sex driven." Tom said softly patting Edd's back.

Edd looked like he was processing everything and sniffled. "You're right... Though I don't know who on earth would care about me."

Matt let go of Edd, "We care about you! I bet you'll be fine finding someone. Though you and Tom might have to share a room since I tend to crush things in my sleep... My me pillow didn't survive too long." Matt pouted.

"Wait what?!" Tom said in protest.

Edd sighed "Alright."

Tom glared at Matt who was ignoring the daggers of rage. "Fine."

Tom lead Edd into his room and laid down.

Edd walked in and laid with Tom... it was oddly close to eachother due to it being a twin bed but Edd was more focused on getting sleep.

Edd slept peacefully even when Tom started to shiver in his sleep against Edd's back and legs.

Edd woke up late in the day with a surprise waiting and sounds of whimpering.
