"There's my girl" Damon smiled as i stepped into the office holding two coffees and a box of doughnuts.
"How was your weekend?"
"It was a lot of work"
"Raven, been a handful?"
"Yeah, her pregnancy hormones are driving me insane"
"Well enjoy the joy of bringing life into the world"
"Gee thanks" he grabbed a coffee before going to his office.
I headed to mine just as i sat down , Dustin came in and sat down. "Good morning to you"
"Morning, i haven't slept at all"
"Long night with the girlfriend?"
"Yup, she doesn't give any breaks" he sighed as he took my coffee and drank it.
"Dude?"
"I'm tired leave me alone"
"Don't you have a client to represent?"
"Yes but it's a clean cut case"
"Well enjoy a day in court"
"Yeah well enjoy a day sorting through old case files"
"Touché, bitch"
"Is Damon coming over tonight?"
"No, raven has been on edge since she returned from the hospital so they're gonna stay in tonight"
"Well can i come over and hang with miss Gabbi?"
"Sure"
"Thanks, love you" he kissed my cheek and walked out .
"I hate work" i grumbled as i stared at the huge stack papers . I started with my paperwork and it took me a couple of hours when i finally finished .
"Daughter" dad stepped into my office .
"Father" i raised my brows in question.
"Your mother wants you to come home for dinner"
"Did her crackhead shaman suggest this?"
"Don't be cruel, madison"
"I can't make it, i have a parent meeting and Dustin is coming over"
"Why has Dustin been over so much?"
"He's my friend and he's been helping me with Gabbi"
"You should find nate and tell him we could represent him for his murder trial"
"Dad stop , the last thing i need is Nathaniel Voorhees in my life again"
"Voorhees?"
"Never mind, i can handle Gabbi without him"
"At least let him know he could come back"
"Dad, why would you want to help him when he cheated on me?"
"Madison"
"Thanks for the visit, you may leave now" i went back to doing my work and eventually he left .
As i finally finished with my paperwork , i grabbed my keys and headed out. I took the elevator down to the lobby when i bumped into raven.
"Hey , what are you doing here?"
"I came to get Damon"
"Oh , well i have to get Gabbi at school"
"I'll see you tomorrow?"
