I'm a women
A mother
A daughter
A sister
I carry the honor of my whole family
over my head
I feel burdened
I feel pressured
I feel numb
I feel scared
What if...
What if I lose that honor
It will always be my fault
If a man stares at my body
If a man comments on me
If a man touches me
If a man harass me
If a man bullies me
And if a man rape me
It will always be me fault
I have been protecting the bridge of my family's honor until now
But I'm scared now
Because it doesn't matter now
If you are new born baby girl
Just opened your eyes in a new world
If you are a 5 year old girl
Full of laughter and impulse
If you are a girl in your teens
Full of passion and dreams
If you are a mother of two kids
Struggling to give them a good life
If you are woman so old and fragile
Whose body is getting weaker day by day
If you are a woman lying
under the skin of sand
Just about to decay
You are no loner safe
You can no longer breath the
fresh air of freedom
You can no longer smile
standing in public
You can no longer apply
a fine line of mascara
just because you love it
What if a man gets wrong signals
What if he take it as
"I'M ALL AVAILABLE"
You can no longer go out alone
Because if something happens to you
Don't blame the man
Don't blame the society
Don't blame the law
Just blame yourself
Because it's your fault
And it will always be your fault
