Apollo was sitting on his throne on Mount Olympus, trying desperately to manage his ferociousness. The gods were currently deciding whether or not to destroy... no, it was too dastardly to say.
"Demeter, think about her disrespect! She didn't give sacrifice anything to us tonight in her offering! Only to faded gods." raged his fool father, Zeus.
"She is my daughter! I don't care if she didn't sacrifice! Would you kill Thalia if she didn't sacrifice?!" hollered Demeter.
"No, I wouldn't! But only because Artemis would kill me if I struck her down!"
"I would." Artemis shrugged.
"If you touch her, I'll stab you a thousand times." snarled Demeter.
"We don't kill demigods who help the gods," Hera said, calmly.
"Oh, like you get to talk, woman. What about Hercules? Or Jason Grace?!" spat Zeus, reverting to his Roman form for a second at the reference of Jason and then back.
Hera and Apollo locked eyes. Apollo's eyes filled with tears and he had to wipe them away, then put his hands behind his back.
"I'm with father on this one. Demigod bloodshed is always fun." Ares sat smugly on his throne. Ares normally sided with Zeus, so this wasn't a surprise.
"And I'm with Ares," Aphrodite declared. She batted her eyelashes and made kissy lips at Ares. Ares squiggled his eyebrows back, then flexed. Artemis and Athena gagged at exact same time.
"Suddenly, I'm with Demeter," Athena's face looked both green and red at the same time, making her look like the goddess of Christmas.
Artemis looked like she was about to burst out laughing. Laughter flickered in her metallic looking, yellow eyes and she bit her lip. Aphrodite noticed and glared at her.
"We don't kill any demigods who forget to sacrifice to us, you fool. We need someone to do the tasks we can't!" Poseidon's grip tightened on his trident, clearly thinking of his son, Percy.
"Oh, like you get to talk. How many of my spawn have you killed." Zeus retorted.
Poseidon's face turned bright red, followed by Hades, and the three brothers began arguing about their demigods, with a lot of threats towards Nico, Hazel, Percy, and Thalia.
Meanwhile, Hermes and Dionysus were trying to look elsewhere. Eventually, Zeus managed to get Dionysus on his side (One more insufferable demigod gone), and Hermes was threatened if he didn't join Zeus.
Apollo glared at the ground. He was trying very hard not to start glowing with rage, but it wasn't exactly the easiest task.
As the gods continued to argue about whether or not to kill this certain demigod, Apollo's anger increased. His clenched fists were behind his back. Dionysus, Ares, Aphrodite, and Hermes, had all joined Zeus' side. Meanwhile, Hades, Hera, Artemis, Athena, Hephaestus, and Poseidon had all joined Demeter's side. If this arguing, Apollo was nervous that the mortals down on Earth would experience their third world war.
"Zeus, listen to me. The demigod does not deserve death."
"But bloodshed-" Ares whined.
"No." Athena snapped at him.
"If I turn her into a hunter, you won't be able to kill her."
"Oh, please." shrieked Aphrodite. "I already have partners planned out for her. That isn't happening!"
"That is enough!" Zeus' voice broke the arguing up and everyone looked towards him. "We are killing the demigod and that is final! I will not hear anyone else's opinion on this."
